I was over at the Cartoon network Cartoon Network LEGO Indy Site and if you click on Toy's there is the Peril in Peru, no date is listed that I can see however :( Also they have some amusing cartoons there too.

I don't think they're the exclusives because the #ing scheme isn't right for that, of the exclusives I've gotten 3 total the numbers are going up in sequentially order, as stated before my post.

yes I think LEGO Stores will carry it, there are specific images of the product on LEGO.com in the cache pages so I think S@H will sell it as well as probably the retail stores, but I was only speculating that it's release date would be much much closer to the movie premier as it is in Japan.

I'm going to toss this out as a guess, but the Japan TRU site states it's available on 6/20/08. The movie opens 6/21/08 in Japan. I believe the US release for this set similarly might be a day or week before the release of the move making it 5/21 or the week of, if the release of the movie in Japan and the toy's release date listed on their site are accurate.

Yes, I was going to say something to you but assumed you were not in the US when it's official opening day is May 22nd, two whole days after yours.

I wonder when this set will be released in the US. The Japanese TRU site says 6/20/2008 which is a month after the movie's US Launch, not sure when it launches in Japan. I definitely want this set.

Yes, most items have sale on dates, I'm sure these do, with Video Games specifically I know fines can even come into play against companies who sell items before the specified date. I'm not sure if this is the case here, but obviously they're release date is in May, but some retailers don't care especially if they know there isn't a fine if they sell them early.
