  1. very nice ucs scale build, the boosters at the back look great!
  2. endor set is definately bang for buck when comes to recreating an original scene how about a clone tank, big vehicle you can push around with room for tons of figs, lots of playability for a young kid
  3. very nice, the whole moc captures the dark, wet feel of the original scene, dirt on R2 is a nice touch
  4. thanks for the beautiful review, will look forward to building this and GE once we move into a bigger place
  5. Mind you Target will stock some Lego sets that Myer won't have and vice versa
  6. Thanks for clearing that up, I got my first robot the other day and the arm wasn't in the position shown on the catalog, I had a couple good pushes but it wouldn't budge so i just left it.
  7. Mad scene and mad collection of empire figures, props to you sir
  8. These ads/vids are great, have never seen any Lego SW commercials on tv
  9. Picked up a couple 8128 Cad Bane's Speeder from Target, pretty happy this set is hard to come by in shops these days
  10. Was talking to a lady early this week who does the orders for Lego at Myers and she said Series 6 will be released around Jan-Feb next year It's funny how lip tight she was about the release, she would'nt even hint on what was in the series...
  11. Being a long time fan and having owned a MY06 in the past I know this car well and this lego renditions look faithful and recognisable to the original. The proportions are good, the length of the bonnet which is long is bang on and the low height profile is great, i like the detailing how you used the single round stud on the boot to represent the 'H' emblem. Will be keen to have a go at one of these once i have my modular buildings up, got me all excited, awesome work!
  12. Just wanted to clarify does the TRU sale apply to City sets only, no discount to Star Wars, mini figs or other themes?
  13. Probably a bit late now but myer have 20% off all toys today only...
  14. so creative i'm jealous, frame it and put a clear panel on the front and you will have a great display case
  15. thanks for the heads up on display cases guys, picked up the last black 16 one at big w swanston st mel $20, theres a only a red 16 left FYI and there is a crap load of series 5 figs at target bourke st for $5, the spending never stops...
  16. what an awesome idea and immaculately executed, very nice presentation as well with the sand
  17. love your work, that is one awesome lil town right there, plan to add to it in the future? normally a SW collector myself but i am slowly diversifying, will start with modular GE, pet shop and HP diagon alley
  18. ha ha was planning to go into target on Bourke st during lunch today but was too busy, maybe tomorrow
  19. it is amazing that lego is making this release, hopefully TLG do a great job with the final sets, this could even rival star wars which has been getting a bit bland and repetitive the last few years. in general i am happy with the figs, i hope they have another look at hulk, personally i think he is too big, if they do him like Lotso from toy story would be about right, bigger than the average fig but still small enough to be considered a mini fig, at the end of the day figs are suppose to be small and cute, no one is going to like a wampa size hulk lol my 2c
  20. this is awesome news, but dam i just dropped some serious coin on 7888 anyways bring on the superheroes, better start saving
  21. DJs got a lego but it is probably the worst selection with little to no discounts out of those you mentioned already
  22. Have been waiting for a review and see the opinions of other members on this set. I for one voted outstanding and consider this a must have as a SW collector from the current wave due to the rarity and inflated prices of 7186 and 7171. The mini figures included are perfect and the pod racers look improved and beefed up from the originals (the orange bricks are sexc) Got this already at 30% discounts so no complaints about the price, though it is still sealed up due to space Thanks for the review parchioso PS i occasionally look up 7186 on eBay since i would like to get the pod racers from that set and i see prices for Watto alone for USD80+
  23. the mos build is huge on a gigantin scale! luv the cliffs, so detailed, props to you sirs /runs out to buy more tan bricks
  24. liking the look of the quirky architecture and the color variation between the buildings and the amount of figs you included is jaw dropping looking at picking up this set when i am in hk in a few months time, can't wait
