  1. Wheres the poll, though I don't have it, the Green Grocer would have to be my favorite
  2. Yesterday picked up 2 sets of 9489 Endor Rebel & Imperial Trooper Battle Pack
  3. Sounds consistent with what we have seen from preliminary pictures a few weeks ago except Jabba's Palace there is no mention of that 10th figure with the hammerhead silhouette on the box, who ever it is I hope they haven't scrapped it because other than Crumb, Boushh and Oola the rest are rehashes and for those who already have them that is a lot of coin to pay for 3 exclusives and an average palace build
  4. It's called the OZ Lego Tax, seriously i don't buy from retail unless there is a minimum of 30% off
  5. 20% off Lego at Target, has SW planet sets, 9490 Droid Escape, 9492 TIE Fighter, 9493 X-Wing Fighter and the rare 7868 Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter Big W has 9491 Geonosian Canon, 9490 Droid Escape, 9489 Endor Rebel & Imperial Trooper Battle Pack Surprisingly no sign of the 9488 Elite Clone Trooper & Commando Droid Battle Pack as of yet
  6. I agree CW looks nothing like SWtOR SWtOR = aim for realism CW = bodies skewed and exaggerated, faces like caricatures
  7. Great review, love the look of the new sand-troopers and I don't have the old droid escape, will definitely get a few of these for the troopers
  8. Helms deep looks really good for a TLG set, has most of the main elements, front gate, bridge and sewer tunnel, will be the price which will determine if I get this set or not
  9. Target Bourke stocking new SW sets, great news will have to check out Chadstone
  10. Well I voted garage truck, it's just a really clean design, that concrete mixer comes in at a close 2nd
  11. Wow man that is one sexy build, those wings really look the part, solid and smooth, great work!
  12. Looks like Darth's tie can do with a wing update as well
  13. Scorpion looks really well done, overall nice work
  14. Nice setup, well done!
  15. Ditto, in fact for this reason I have held out getting CMF Series 6, it just doesn't interest me as much as this series does and there is so many new themes released this year, LotR and DC/Marvel, must pace myself this year lol
  16. Nice to see new pictures to feed the hungry, overall these look great, most impressed with the hobbits, the detail on the bodies and the variance between each of them is beautiful and the hair is just hilarious because it is faithful to the original. Gimli and Gandalf look rather average to me at this point, were the sets being shown at the toy fair and if so are there any pictures?
  17. Beautiful, gong xi fa cai!
  18. Cool been waiting for a review on the new tie, one of the few summer sets I will be definitely getting (2 would go nicely with the anniversary Darth tie) Actual review can do with a bit a work, more pics in general of the build and the figures and description with price, number of pieces etc. and a final rating, regardless nice effort anyways, you know for next time
  19. nice collection, sets look like more of recent years, just came out of dark ages?
  20. For sure the ATAT was the most impressive SW build at the convention, not surprisingly it won the Best SW MOC In general would have liked to seen more SW stuff, maybe shows the SW theme is more for kids rather than AFOL's. The convention was dominated by Town setups the most combined with rail, these were numerous and ginormous. It is also interesting to note Modular buildings seemed to be the most displayed set straight out of the box showing the popularity amongst AFOL's, I have a couple of these myself, can't wait to build em once I have the space
  21. Cool moc love jawa's, the led lights really brings it to life
  22. Cool little vignette, wouldn't it be great if you can take the helmet off any figure and hear would sprout out like you last pic
  23. Hey all just got back from Brickvention today held at Town Hall in Melbourne. Amazing MOC builds and setups, well worth the price of the entry ticket. Below some pictures of SW related stuff and a link here to some more pictures from the convention - flickr A job well done to those who participated
  24. Nice thread, I am in a similar situation, have a few modular buildings and want to have a rail system running through because my boy loves trains, after reading this and other review threads plan to go 7939 Cargo Train and then something more sexier either 10194 EN or 10219 Maersk Train, depending which one is available and price
  25. Really well done, would definitely like to have one in my town layout, great work
