Maybe it is. I have not seen this x-wing before. If someone use a building solution it doesn't mean that he had invented it. In my opinion using this or similar method is the best way to achieve the most hexagonal shape like you said before. I don't know why are you suggesting that I have copied someone's work. Anyway if you want to see it from the inside here is a photo. I 've also uploaded a photo of interesting and useful brick (in my opinion) from polish clone brand- cobi (I think that lego should make similar part).

Thanks . Yes it's very similar to the x-wing's. It's funny that this ship is older than Arc-170 which was based on Z95. I can't see resemblance between these two ships like between Z95 and x-wing. If somebody is interested I have used mainly this photo to build the ship.

I used to play human male (nothing special )who was random hero. I would love to, but I don't have more tiles. There is also something that I would change in the cockpit surrounding to make it look less blocky. As you can see I am using a mix of old and new light grey and that is the next thing I would like to change. Maybe in a future, and maybe it would be X-wing . I have just bought this set . I find it is good to keep such a classic ship for a longer time. For a person like me - who doesn't have many sets, this x-wing is very good option. It has fine parts to build some simple ship. The engine parts looks also great and I really can't find a set with four of them. Besides my favourite and first set was 7140 so I want to compare these two .
