Dear Eurobrickers,
Allow me to introduce myself...
My name is Petzi (French translation for "Rasmus Klumpf"). Got introduced to the fantastic world of Lego when I was 6, and since then, I kept buying bricks and kept them all in the best state possible. I'll turn 40 in a couple of weeks, and most of my first sets are still good looking and proudly displayed in my office
I really got back into the little bricks a few years ago (I even was a Belug's member, #50 or #51 IIRC), but the latest addition to our family took away all the free time I had left, with no time to build (don't believe what you hear : the time needed to take care of kids depends on their number; not in a linear way, but more in an exponential one).
Anyway, my last one is now 6, and starts drooling when he looks at my collection of old sets. I thus opened the doors of the shelf, and put the sets back into their original function : toys ! My son loves them all.
My dad used to have a whole room filled with a Marklïn HO display, so you can easily guess where my heart is I am first rebuilding old trains with the help of bricklink, and will move to MOC trains very soon. Some of the trains I saw here are really inspiring And as I missed the end of 9V, and couldn't pile up rails and motors, have been pretty happy with recent news from ME-Models
Cheers,
Petzi
PS: Regarding other stuff I do in my life : I'm the guy your ISP calls when their network is down, I'm a musician, a sound engineer in the making, I swim a lot (hope to participate in 800m free style national competition at the end of the year). Did I say already that I have a very limited supply of free time ?
