    Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I did some experimentation and found out that if I put the pf motor in backwards (opposite of what the instructions say) it will run just fine.

    Thanks for the welcome! I took a look at the wheels of the engine and they do have O-rings And the engine runs fine without any cars attached. But as soon as I add the cars it will not run.

    The engine moves fine with no cars and everything look like it is put together correct. Must be the car with the tree. Any suggestions on how to modify it?

    Yes it is powered up and it tries its best to move but the front wheels just roll in place and the train does not move.

    Hi all, I am New to Lego trains and bought the Holiday train at a discount at a local store. I have built it and added power functions but the train will not pull any of the cars. The front wheels keep spinning. Can anyone help a new Lego train fan and new eurobricks member?
