LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Sportzjester replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Can someone post the Amazon (US) link to the 501st battle pack and AAT? I'm not able to find it on their site, which is very strange if others have found it. -

Instagram has apparently blocked the hashtag "legoleaks". Anyone else seeing similar tags being removed? EDIT: it is now up again. -

What did the leaked rebel trooper look like? What era, colors, helmet/hair, etc.? Additionally, it seems to have been a long time since we've had a battle pack leak,. Or am I overestimating the time gap? -

That's very weird. What's the last non-advent calendar set that was a short release? -

Um, the Empire used women in their military, including direct-combat roles.... I personally am excited because I can used the head in my custom Resistance army. Flesh colored female heads are expensive in Bricklink. -

I hope I can post this without being taken as 'off-topic.'But I'd love to see a First Order Scout/Bike Trooper be made in lego. Scout Troopers are an amazingly molded figure in Lego and with the First Order having few designs (compared to Clones or OT Empire). Heck, it would've been a much better figure than the re-colored Shore Trooper or the Stormtrooper with the extra ammo pouch. -
In the Rebel Alliance Battle Pack, we received two alien figures (one being a molded Rodian). Does the community believe that TLG will introduce any additional aliens in Star Wars sets in the near future (especially in BPs)?

Is the FO Tie Pilot the special forces pilot from Kylo's new ship? That pilot has two red stripes on a slightly bulkier helmet compared to the FO Pilot we got earlier. -

I believe the preliminary information was that one was a Tattoine Battle Pack (3 of a combination of jawas and tusked raiders, and an astromech droid) and the other was a prequel set with at least one of the more obscure Jedis. -

Leak is titled "ALL"; does this mean that there are no BP or Minifighters? -

Is the micro fighter TIE pilot the regular pilot or special forces one? After they put the regular pilot in the special forces TIE I'd hope they'd give us the chance to get the right helmet for a reasonable amount. -

Hypothesis: the new mold for the Tusken Raiders was really expensive and they'd like to utilize the asset over as long as a period as possible. Therefore, they decided to put it in a BP; to make it a coherent theme, they made it Tatooine and threw in the Jawas and droid (also not the cheapest molds). If that's accurate, potentially that gives us a clue about other BPs. -

SvL: Can you confirm if there will be more than two battle packs? I'm not asking what would be inside of them, just whether TLG has decided on two or some amount more than that. Thank for your info. You're a huge asset to our community! -

How is this above mentioned rambling allowed? It's about hypothetical pieces in non-Star Wars sets and how they could potentially be used in a future Star Wars set which we don't even have leaked images for. However, when somebody discusses a clue that a person in-the-know drops, it's considered off topic and the mods consider it DEFCON 1. Some consistency please. -

Hoping the helmet goes online at Lego Bricks and Pieces. Otherwise, they'll be a bunch of people trying to Bricklink the entire pilot and really drive the price up. -

Is the Resistance Officer a named character or based on a specific person/class? Regarding the uniform to the battle pack officer, the tunic is different but the plaque is the same.... -

How early, in relation to the release of the first game, did we get indications of the battle packs based upon the game? Because as of now, I don't think we have 'missing set numbers' for any comparable battle packs soon. -
LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
Sportzjester replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Why on topic: analysis of the rumor of prices compared to past waves I would be shocked if the cheapest set is not less than $30. From a business point of view, it makes little sense. There will be many parents who will want to purchase a Lego product but can't afford that high of an amount. There's a reason polybags, minifig blind bags, etc. are hot sellers (less than $5) and each theme has a small, less than $10 set (city is most famous for this, but even ninjago, Marvel, and even Star Wars micro fighters exist) in order to capture this market. $40.00 is often a post-tax, full-work day's salary for a minimum wage parent. I couldn't imagine that price to be the lowest Lego offers. We've always seemed to have at least one such set in a wave (microfighter, battle packs, Rey's speeder, etc.) so even with the inflation bump, I'd be shocked to see the lowest priced set to be more than $30.
