  1. I wonder how much gap there would be around the 1x1 round tile if we put one on the new 11dia x 12 rim. Of course, you can still push it out using a bar but I think lego would be too worried that that isn't enough, and so would leave a tiny gap assuming the wheel is still large enough to accommodate one
  2. white clutch ring extension spotted in set 21368
  3. Soo, maybe an icons/creator fishing reel 3 in 1 set using: The new 20T sprocket gear maybe with a 2 speed gear box and adjustable drag but without damaging rubber parts (so basically like a car clutch) and a recolored in black winch drum from set 42146 for the spool
  4. This set has 3 new recolors in purple 1x1 beam and 1x1 pin with pinhole oh and the macaroni elbow piece
  5. I thought the tire is just plastic, and is part of the wheel mould? but yes, it appears to be in sections/ I can't wait to make other lego bikes now!!
  6. 42045 and 42110 sold like hotcakes and were actually full of technic mechanisms, this is 2H also.
  7. Actually, did lego actuallly still make these scale cars allow the yellow prongs of the 42098 still fit into the underside of the car? Or do the cars technically fit but the prongs have nowhere to go into.
  8. Hardly 42009 era is it. Hardly 42043 , 42055, 42042, 8118, 42066, 8258, 42110, 42100, 42082, 42045, 42070 level sets (which actually exited me) Not one set am I excited for, for 2h 2026 except maybe the Konigsegg. I’m glad the unimog has AWD with suspension and steering but the boom and outriggers are as basic as it gets, there's no motorisation (and definitely not RC). I hate pneumatics, I don't even know if the cargo bed is a tipper or not. We're going backwards in complexity How many sets had or could officially have power functions? It was LOADS. And they were full of functions Now it's oh here's a new tire and panel and here's a car that uses them. We have shorter CV joints and shorter steering links and shorter suspension arms but we.still don't get 4WD much. We have more gear types but nothing like say 42043’s gearbox complexity. The only exception is 42128. We have dune ornithopter blades and no new technic helicopter despite how good the airbus was. 42043 was ok I guess. The P1 was ok but we need ride height adjustment, maybe working disc brakes, maybe AWD again, maybe a mechanical convertible roof , even optional motorisation. The Sian and Bugatti were more technical, it's just that the Ferrari and P1 were more refined and had a bigger parts count
  9. because these panels came out in 2010, where as the 8110 was 2011. https://www.technicopedia.com/2010.html https://www.technicopedia.com/2011.html
  10. me too, I wonder how it will be better than the 2011 unimog, maybe all mechanical and no pneumatics? maybe have a transmission and be RC? (1 motor for drive. one for steering, and at least 1 for the functions) Maybe a way to make the dumping be sideways or rear-ward with a selector lever.
  11. Yeah, I hope we can make a better part than the holder/channel brick that pairs with the track. I tried but using mostly system pieces but it wouldn't have worked on the corner pieces. I did use 4L gear racks to make shorter straight sections. They are half a plate higher than the monorail track pieces but the clutch es all line up. Otherwise we would have to lower the 4L gear strips by a half plate which is finicky. I would rather just use a gear than meshes with both heights technic parts should make it easier to build the gear holder + channel holder but allow it to work on corners (since studless technic is rounded). By "channel" I mean the bits that are on both sides of the toothed section on the track. The holder has to wrap around those edges
  12. yeah I really want some Z beams but no axle holes, as there 1001 ways to mesh an axle to pinhole anyway, so all pinholes would be more useful, and 2L high instead of 3L
