  1. Thanks guys! Ha! Yes it is :D
  2. I totally understand. I just wanted something there since it seemed so plain without it. And thank! Those were actually the first things I built out of the whole creation!
  3. Thank you so much everyone! First of all, thanks! I actually do have technic holes on both sides of the building. The reason I had some foliage on the side is mostly because it would look really boring without it. I sort of thought of the building as one that would be at the end of a street anyways. The piping is there because I thought it looked really good having is circle around the building. Hopefully it doesn't ruin the building for you
  4. B-OM-28E Finally it's done! I literally started this right after they mentioned the contest and I have spent countless hours trying to get every little detail I can in it. Oh, and the editing took forever too. I had to mask out like every color on every picture just for color correction. Hopefully it payed off. The main floor is a French Cafe (Obviously), the second story is an apartment, and the third story is an attic which is complete with a little surprise. Anyways, I hope you like it and don't hesitate to make a comment! 5. Thanks a ton guys! Sadly there aren't really any pictures needed
  6. Awesome!I really like the idea of a junkyard!
  7. B-M-06D Here's my entry! I hope you enjoy it, I think it turned out pretty well. 50's Style Bank by Carson Hart, on Flickr
  8. This is really well done. I think this is my favorite so far for the recreational part. I love the dark green roof.
  9. I'm like 95% sure you won't find a good deal on that set. Lego online PAB probably only has 55-75% of the pieces required to build the set. The only way to get it is through Bricklink but it will cost a lot of money and time and it probably isn't worth it. But who knows, maybe it is to you. To answer your question, yes it is possible, but it will cost a lot of money, time, and effort.
  10. If you really want some inspiration, just go to Flickr and type in "Lego Bathroom".
  11. Sleep Tight... Don't let the bed bugs bite! Minifigure: Sleepyhead Theme: Fantasy I know the "tire" worm isn't my idea but I haven't seen it in quite a while and wanted to bring it back. So ya, this is for the Eurobricks Minifigure Series 6 contest. I built all of this on Saturday and I like how it turned out, considering I built it in one day. I think there is a pattern going on where I build something last minute for a contest and become like the last one to submit. I think there is also a pattern of not winning :P Anyways, I hope you like it! Sleep Tight... by Carson Hart, on Flickr
  12. I apoligize for the false accusation. I just though that they appeared to be light bley. And for the dark green plate, I just miscounted it, and it's a 6x10, not a 6x8. Sorry, I'll try not to get into situations like this again
  13. I've been reading up on the conversation and I think I have found something that might prove it's a render. I honestly have nothing against you "Artizan" and I think the build is really terrific but I have to do what's fair. The screwdriver piece used on top of the cone appears to be light bley, although it only comes in dark bley, dark grey, and black. I'm not sure if I'm right or not but it just appears to be light bley. Again, I just wanted to point that out. Also, I just found that there is no 6x8 plate in dark green. Here's the Bricklink: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6246a Dark Green Plate: http://www.bricklink.com/browseList.asp?itemType=P&catString=26
  14. I love this! It looks so clean and really resembles the Architecture series. Well done.
  15. Great, thanks! I fixed the photos.
  16. Ok, sorry about that. I tried to but whenever i did, it wouldn't seem to work. Can you help me with that? Thanks in advance.
  17. The Diagon Alley set is an amazing set. Also, the Burrow is a great set too. I got three of them It might be quite expensive to collect them all but if that's what you're into, go right ahead. If your into building your own creations, I recommend buying current sets since they will be a lot cheaper.
  18. Here's my entry! This is the scred Kinkaku-ji temple in Kyoto, Japan. It is based on the Landmark Series. Kinkaku-ji by Carson Hart, on Flickr Here a back view. Please ignore a few of the missing grill plates Kinkaku-ji Back View by Carson Hart, on Flickr Reference photo: Good luck to the very talented contestants! I'm amazed by the quality in some of the builds.
  19. My guess would be that the 1x2x5 stickers would go in Dolores Umbridges office, although I'm not 100% sure since this is the one Hogwarts castle that I don't have. Not too sure about the others, sorry. I really wouldn't worry about it though, it's not that big of a deal. Plus, I never apply stickers to my sets anymore, I save them and use them on a creation if I want to.
  20. If he's just displaying them, I don't see a reason to update it. Also, I like the old greys. The new ones are better, but when you mix them, it makes a really good looking rock or texture. That aside, I think you should just put them together next to each other. It would probably look really cool.
  21. Yaaaa!!! Lookin forward to it! Also, the tags are great. Thanks a lot!
  22. It says it's due on Saturday, April 8th at midnight, although April 8th is a Sunday. Can someone help clear this up for me?
  23. Awesome work!
