  1. Thanks! I'm thinking towards yuppie then. The lego fan
  2. Can I just check with you that y is an Italian letter, and if so, do you have any ideas what Itaria's y clue is? Thanks! The lego fan
  3. I just did English to Italian, typing guy into English and it came back with ragazzo? I'm confused! The lego fan EDIT: Your link does show that tipo can mean guy though, so that's settled. I guess it's more accurate than google translate. I'm still confused about Itaria's clue with the y though, because y is not a standard Italian letter.
  4. Many thanks for the info Kevii23! First off, I am glad lego are re-using the lobster, the dolphin, the islander mask and the wheelchair moulds. Did you know of anything else from the fun at the beach set (such as an ice cream stand or a deckchair)? I am excited to see the bus and what it looks like. Presumebely, it is a single decker bus, not a double decker, but I'd like to check just in case we're finally getting one. Do you know what coulour the bus is? If the jungle sets have islander references, they may well be better than I thought they'd be. Also, a jaguar sounds awesome! The coast guard sets will probably still be good as well, even if they don't provide many new things, what with the hq, which we didn't see in 2013 and the starter pack. To be fair, I like coast guard in general and the 2013 sets were pretty good anyway. The freight terminal should be okay, I guess. Nothing new though. The truck could be usefull for city's. Last, I didn't know that friends was being given a school?! I thought it was a hospital this time round (as makoy's info states over at the friends 2017 rumours and disscusion) The lego fan
  5. If you type tizio into Italian it comes back with guy, hence I think this is the word that is mentioned in Itaria's clues. If you do it the other way, it comes back as ragazzo which, on further research, is more of a boy or lad (not a guy as such.) Tipo, however, doesn't seem to come back as anything other than type, kind or sort everywhere I've looked on the web so I'm a bit puzzled why everyone is suggesting this word.? The lego fan
  6. It's a possibility but I think that might be stretching it a bit far. It would be too hard for anyone and it wouldn't be as fun if that were the case. I do appreciate the game a lot though, even if it turned out that way. Besides, Itaria said it was done another language, not other languages. The lego fan
  7. Yes, you're right. Only foreign, international or specialised words include a y so it is not an official letter of the Italian alphabet. That could change absolutely everything! I suppose the language could still be Italian, but it will be extremely hard to get this one. Or maybe it's not Italian after all! Who knows? The lego fan
  8. I'm going to try and pick just one of these for each character, stating which of Itaria's original clues I am thinking towards. By the way, thanks for doing this! I really appreciate it. 1. Vet (somewhat related to animals.) 2. Female elf (relates to the clue about being female, having a counterpart in the first five waves and making army builders happy.) 3. Hawaiano (from a specific nationality) 4. Guitar player (Itaria's clue about series 4 and 1 makes me think towards a minifigure that is unnecesery since the skater was unnecesery in series 4. A guitar player would be one of many, and therefore unnecesery.) 5. Astronaught (not always on planet earth) 6. Roman Gladiator (around before 500ad) 7. Higwayman (visible in leaflet) 8. We already have an animal - so a rocket costume (clue 13). 9. Yuppie (80's) 10. Groom (town character never in a cmf line and s) 11. Dance instructor (Idb and s5 ands15) 12. Corn cob suit Just my ideas!
  9. I agree that the hospital should of gone to city, but it will still be great. I also would hope to see another wheelchair guy and a baby- let's just wait to see! Also, looking forward to the winter sports theme-esspecially the ski lift.?
  10. I'm super excited for fun at the beach (I own fun at the park) and the bus station (I'm intrigued what LEGO will include in this set)! As for the jungle sets, I'll have to wait for pictures to say if they're good or not. The research location sounds the best while I'm pretty bored of helicopters. The freight terminal should be good too. The coast guard sub theme probably tempts me more than the jungle one (as jungle doesn't really fit with most city sets) and I'll look forward to the hq (finaly) and the starter set (it's cheap). Overall, a pretty strong wave of sets that could be improved only minorly. Good job LEGO! The lego fan
  11. No,it won't be. Collectible minifigures are never exact repeats of minifigures from other themes. Glad to be of help! The lego fan
  12. Very funny! At first, I didn't know how you did this, ... a pen is a great idea! The lego fan.
  13. I'm re-doing my list of guesses based on Itarias list since more is now known: 1. Circus strong man (confirmed) 2. Butterfly suit (confirmed) 3. Doctor 4. Mech 5. Battle dwarf (confirmed) 6. Harpy? 7. Hot dog vendor (confirmed) 8. Town crier 9. Carrot suit 10. Brazzilian tribesman 11. Queen of some sort 12. Spartan 13. Tree suit 14. ???????? 15. Spaceman 16. Pet shop owner Just my thoughts The lego fan
  14. Nothing today, but yesterday I got the 2017 pizza van(£17.99)as well as the buggy(£8.99). Both look fantastic. The lego fan
  15. That helicopter polybag is sweet and simple-not too interesting yet perfect. The lego fan
  16. What a very nicely done festive video! Congratulations! The lego fan
  17. My favourite minifigure is the classic blue space man. My most wanted are probably the S5 graduate,S1 spaceman and S10 decorater. The lego fan
  18. You have deffenitely been busy creating some fantastic looking buses. We realy need more buses in LEGO in general. I esspecially like the double-decker buses and the little details you have added, particularly on the front of the buses. I reccomend that you make some articulated buses. With the amount of skill you have, I'm sure you could create some somehow. Well done! The lego fan
  19. Jungle seems like a pretty cool sub-theme eventhough in my opinion it shouldn't be under city but rather as a separate theme of some sort. The jungle should allow plenty of exploration themed sets like large and bulky 4x4s as well as little boats and of course-new animal moulds! I'm hoping for tigers and elephants. I think the coulour scheme will probably be beige and green. Some how I just think those coulours will work. The lego fan
  20. Do you know any more minifigures in series 17 that you could share with us? The Lego Fan
  21. We've had no daily clue today! Help would be gratefully received Itaria! The Lego fan.
  22. So, I now suspect the minifigure will be a similar figure to one we have had not that long ago. Also, I suspect the rehashes will be number 1,another doctor, number 5 and number 12, a spartan. The lego fan P.S. I'm thinking a policeman. We've had two already so as Itaria said, you get a sense of LEGO reapeating them selves over and over again. It would make sense with the evidence we have.
  23. Ok, here's a little speculation: Roman's were around in 753bc and could be a rehash, as Itaria said, of several cmf's in the first ten waves. Egyptains might be a possibility, but they were around way before 500AD Mayans were around in 2600bc The lego fan P.s.- On the subject of history, the minifigure from a certain nationality could be a ancient Greek as indeed this figure could.
  24. Just realised that the minifigure from a certain nationality could be a sports player playing a national sport of that country. Australian footballer? Just an idea! The lego fan.
