  1. Well I new it wouldn't float, I would put a beam from under it... Blue bricks is not an option for me though, hahaha. I'm sure I'll get around it. thanks though, -TD
  2. Well thank you guys, I thought I scanned over this, But I must have missed that. Basically he is saying that he added the sails in paint. As far as I can tell. Thanks again. -TD
  3. Hey for my movie (obviously) I need these ships I'm going to build on water, like an ocean. And a harbor. Originally my plan was to animate these ships on my mom's incredible computer, then put them on moving waters, but that's going to be incredibly hard. So I was wondering, If you had to get a ship to look like it was in the ocean, what would you do? Thanks, -TD
  4. 6493 Flying Time Vessel All the way! but that's because of my memories with that set *doublethumbsup* -TD
  5. thankyou, I was sweatin' there for a sec :'-( . But i printed them out on sticky paper and stuck em on a few guys and they look sick. I'm ordering some tricorne hats (black for red coats) and a TON of cutlass swords and Muskets. This is coming along grand thanks to bricklink, I'm glad I've found these sites they're helping out a lot so far. -TD
  6. Starwars and norrington you have to believe me I've never seen that before really I haven't. ^Thank you for that, really thank you I never thought of overlapping the two for comparison. See you guys? Mine was all drawn by me. the only recourses I used were Google images. -TD
  7. Wow, I'm so sorry, I didn't ever see that, honest! Please, Take full credit I don't want to get in trouble, I never saw that before. I'll edit my post and say I just cleaned up that old one, but really I just made that myself. Honestly, I just looked up "red coats" on Google images and up came some that look just like that so I made my own, really you have to believe me here. Sorry, -TD
  8. Huh, there is now two topics, both in Pirate Lego customs. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to put this in the wrong forum, but I think you just copied it. Anyway, how do I Resize these images from the original size? Are they ready to print and glue on?? -TD EDIT: Btw I made some Red Coat soldier torso's: Comments appreciated! -TD
  9. If I were to copy and past them in a grid using paint, how many would I put (ie: 7 wide, 13 tall) and what do I resize them as? i.e. 50%? 25%? Please help. -TD
  10. Yes, I know of all those. But do you think I could just buy A lot of Red Beard Runners (3-4) and make those a Big A pirate ship? The only problem is Armada Ships. I don't know, how would I make a big one of those? I know how to make one of those look nice, but the pieces would be hard to get, no? Thanks, -TD
  11. I'm not going to lie to you, I'm not much a ship builder. But you think 500$ could get me the pieces to build those? Cause I need a Pirate Ship and a NAVY ship. I just don't think I'll be able to create one that good. How do I contact these builders anyway? -TD
  12. Somebody said 250 US dollars was way to low. So I said 500 dollars for the ones listed above. Anybody think that'll go? -TD :-|
  13. ^Well that helps very much thank you. 500 USD? Yeah, I new 205 was waayy low, but the one's I linked to I'm willing to pay $500. Does anybody think that'll cut it? Also, How do I contact the people who built the ships I linked too? Thanks, -TD EDIT: I realize that makes me sound like a spoiled little brat. Basically it goes like this: I have my ways of getting money, it's all me. And this is the way I choose to spend it. And your sets will be in pristine condition for many years if I buy them. And the movie(s) will be good too. I'll surely send DVD copy's too the people whom I bought the sets from, and I will give credit to the original builders of course. -TD
  14. Sorry, I just Posted this in the wrong section, but I'm posting it now in the right spot:
  15. Hi, I am making a Pirate movie, (probably series) and I was wondering If somebody could buy one of these for "x" amount of dollars? I'm willing to pay around 250$ for each. The two that I have picked out are listed here: twinkles: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1177457 DundS: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=231030 If this is totally uncalled for, like these are almost personal possessions due to the amount of work or something, I apologize in advance. But if these aren't for sale, is there anyway the owner/builder could make instructions? Like take it apart step by step and take pictures, then put them in reverse. Or LeoCAD it. I would pay somewhat for that. But then I would need to be pointed in the right direction for pieces. How would I contact these members? And is 250 USD a fair price? Thank you very much, -TD EDIT: My apologies, this is in the wrong forum, this can be deleted. -TD
  16. Hey, I'm obviously new to this forum, but I have a question. I'm modeling some ships for a pirate brick film and I've run into a problem. I was wondering how you get sails into the program? I'm using Bryce5 for the land, Anim8or, LeoCAD, and AutoCAD for animations, and Adobe Premiere for video, and Adobe After Effects PRO for after effects. But I'm having trouble creating nice looking sails. I was wondering if you could help me here? I didn't want to create a new thread so I found this one hoping for an answer but I'll just ask it myself. Thanks, -TD
