What you're saying sounds extremely consistent with a new falcon. Can you tell us whether your source gave you a price, or something else that you inferred a price from?
-
Have you heard from someone else "this isn't a rehash", or have you heard specifically what it is and personally dont consider it a rehash? I ask because thanks to Assault on Hoth, there's now a bit of a grey area. So, if its coming from you that its not a rehash, do you consider Assault on Hoth to be a rehash of older Hoth sets? Depending on your answer this could seriously affect what we can expect. Along similar lines, are we talking not a rehash of a previous set, or not a rehash of a previous UCS set?

April? Weird, dont they usually save them for may 4th? I cant see two UCS sets being released a month apart, so I guess may 4th will just be even more lacklust this year?

try threading some thin wire through them, if its the shape you're dissatisfied with. (I assume you're talking about the brown pipes on the body?)

I dont understand the point of having a secret room that people aren't allowed in to display probably pretty spoilery sets that wont be released for another 8 months, especially if they're final. Seems like a needless risk.

Probably because the majority of their customers aren't trying to build sizable armies. Even if they gave us 4 pain troopers in a battle pack, how many kids can afford to buy a lot of them?

So much hate for the quadjumper. Its the only interesting ship design in the entire film, I'm so glad its getting some love. I dont have much love for minifigs, so I personally couldn't care less that none of them are new. I'm very excited for it, but I dont think its as big as the image makes it look, the wheels at the front of the engines aren't really all that big. Its a decent-sized ship, its not enormous like the packaging makes it look.

Really that's testiment to LDD's failings more than Inthert's.
-
That's all it was; wishlisting. It was never so much as a rumor.
-
Absolutely ridiculous sounds about right, the prices are absolutely ridiculous in every other country.
-
well they're apparently happy to let it die in Australia...
-
And then Inthert's X-wing happened. RIP Psaiki's X-wing, former-best lego x-wing.

This.. asks more questions than it answers. Are they available to see to anyone who walks into the correct store, or only a select few people? Is this some sort of event? What exactly is going on here?
-
If you dont mind my asking, did you photograph it, and if not, why not? Its something of a mystery for us. I mean, the idea that not a single person who can see these images in person has a mobile with a decent camera seems a bit ridiculous in this day and age, so there's got to be something else, right? Why aren't this pics on the internet immediately? Why do they keep getting photographed with such awful cameras? With someone here in this thread who's seen leaks before they're on the internet, maybe you can give us at least some idea of why. I do appreciate you telling us this information btw, in case it comes across otherwise. Its just, its an issue I've always wanted some answers for.

Comparison: 75003 A-wing VS 75175 A-wing
Magmafrost replied to VaderFan2187's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'd put a Han Solo minifig below a rebel technician personally. As much as I dont care for the rebel technicians and their vehicles, I have far too many Han Solos. -
I'd really like to see a better selection of concave bowed pieces. As it stands, the selection is pretty piss poor, unless you're in to arch ways. Something like the 1x2 bowed plates, but concave, would be a godsend. So many star wars vehicles could benefit from it (*cough* phantom II *cough*), but they'd be tremendously useful throughout all themes.

Isnt it not actually a full astromech anyway though? Or was that just in the old canon
-
Well obviously you're not going to find a single unifying speech trait among 22 million people. But its pretty common in Australia to swear casually. I dont see it as anything noteworthy. Its just another word.

Alright, I need to go on a rant about the idea that prices in Australia arent that bad. The first thing I need to say is, GTFO with that "people have it worse so you cant complain" BS. With that out of the way, More and more often, its actually cheaper to buy sets on ebay from the US and ship them to Australia. Its always been close, but its just rediculous that its actually crossed that line. How can private shipping be cheaper than a major company!? HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!? The shipping costs from the US to Australia are insane, and yet somehow its now less than the "F you for living on a sparsely populated land mass" tax. This should never be the case. Its so bad that Lego* has to ban Amazon from shipping Lego to Australia, in stead of, you know, having a long hard look at why we'd even want to do that. How that became a better option than buying locally. And maybe doing something not blatantly anti-consumer about it. *(allegedly. I cant find a good source, but a lot of people talk about it like there was one at some point. It certainly is true that Amazon wont ship lego to Australia, but whether or not that's actually TLG's doing is unclear)

A few reasons: There's a 18+ age limit here for signing up here anyway (although the percentage of users who ignored it, who can say), so what does it matter. Im Australian, that's just how I talk. We swear a lot, and not exclusively in anger, just in casual conversation. I maintain the idea of a swear word is a fundamentally stupid concept anyway. Also, Brexit did a number on the Australian dollar too, we just recovered a lot quicker. Im not disgruntled (well I am, but thats not the point), that's actually just how I talk. Now excuse me while I go rant in the pricing topic about why it is that bad
-
or it could mean a price hike. Inflation happens, prices change (and brexit fucks with economies)

Its more likely that either a snowspeeder was planned and was pushed back (like the assault on hoth and slave 1 were), or simply someone was wrong
-
CM4Sci said on flickr that a millennium falcon is likely, so that. He also said on reddit that there is no snowspeeder, UCS or otherwise. And as much as we probably shouldn't worship CM4Sci like a god, he does have a pretty good track record
-
Hmm, at that price point I expect we'll see a custom moulded rathtar. I mean I guess it was obvious that that would happen, but a brick-built one would've been nice. Well, except that TLG refuses to adopt the lowell sphere, so maybe it wouldn't be.

Here ya go. Not strictly speaking a recent eta-2, but its basically the same build.
