  1. I'm very very excited for this series!

Miles, Gwen, Spider-Punk, Spider-Man India and 2099 are all must-haves in my opinion and I might get Peter-Parker just to complete the main roster.

Part of what makes this so good is their unmasked heads being included - I'm thinking that I'll display them all suited-up and then make a vignette of them all chilling out in civilian clothes with their alternate heads and awesome hairpieces.

True Star Wars is only episodes 1-6 and Clone Wars, anything after that is pure fan fiction

Mandalorian seasons 1-2 and Rogue One might be considered but season 3 just ruined it all

SW is in a very sad,bad place where new projects aren't getting anyone excited anymore, they should just sell it at this stage, The Last Jedi was a life threatening injury to the brand and The Acolyte is what killed it for good, right now it's braindead and hooked up to a machine on life support but not long left till it goes away for good

Possibly the most bastardized, ruined, deconstruction of an IP ever is SW

Marvel still has hope yet thankfully but if Daredevil and Avengers fail, it's all gone

Lego should not make any SW ST sets, them movies are terrible and ruins the lore and story George created, OT,PT,CW and Legends is what should be focused on

Less than 12, and are paid off by disney to shill for them

Hey man, maybe just let people enjoy what they want to enjoy?

In terms of the 2025 sets, I’m holding judgement until there’s more info or we see pictures. I’ve mostly been collecting clone sets or Mando stuff these last 3 or 4 years so I imagine the smaller battlepack-style sets will be on my wishlist and god knows what the turbo tank set will end up like.

Im also holding out hope for an Acolyte play set based on episode 5 next year but I’m not holding my breath.

Well he does say that due to the good PPP Ratio of that set it is likely to be similar to those other buildable baby dinosaurs, but who knows, maybe due to the size of the Titanosaur in the film and as its an important animal supposedly, we might get it but brick built?

    Expand

I heard a rumour there would be a small mascot dinosaur so maybe it could be that brick-built like Bumpy was?

Very unsubstantiated rumour but r/jurassicpark talked about a small Aquilops the size of a cat.

  4. I’ve seen on the Jurassic park subreddit that four toy listings have been leaked for Rebirth.

      Reveal hidden contents

This info is apparently from the Brazilian toy fair catalogue

    I hope you are correct.

For me the we need the signature crew. That been Jack, Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth, Cotton (with Parrot), Marty, Gibbs and Rageti, Pintell and of course Jack the Monkey.

I feel Marty and Cotton are very minor roles but yet such a big part of the Black Pearls Crew.  They both didn’t say much but were part of the crew through all the first three movies along with others who came and went etc.

    Expand

It’d be cool if there were enemy crew mates as well - if Pintell and Ragetti were included they could also have skeleton alternate faces. Throw in Barbossa and you could display three skeleton pirates against the Black Pearl crew or show them all working together

  6. Does anyone else feel like the different dragons could have quite different price points? If there aren’t any substantial sidebuilds I could see Toothless and Meatlug being quite small £20 - £25 sets like these Ninjago dragons:

    Great Lego dragonsGreat Lego dragons

meanwhile I think Hookfang or Barf and Belch could be smaller £40 / £50 sets

    Great Lego dragons

I’m also interested to see if there are builds for the village of Berk and the dragon-fighting arena (if it’s an important location in the new film)

  7. I couldn’t be more excited for this! I think the Ninjago dragons and some of the brick-built Avatar creatures are a good metric for what we could expect - so if we all get all five of the main dragons they should have molded heads but brick-built bodies and legs.

Im very curious to see which dragons are in a set on their own and which have side-builds such as parts of Berk, landscape builds or a Viking longship.

I think whether the sets are based on the upcoming movie or the original trilogy comes down to one thing—how LEGO perceives this as a theme with longevity.

If they just want to make one wave to correspond with the movie's release and call it a day, then it's obvious that basing it on that same movie is the way to go.

But if they want more waves? Well, there are three animated movies and one live-action one. If they think this theme will sell well and they'll want more waves, obviously it would be wiser to have much more material to choose from, adding variety to the theme.

It's one or the other—they wouldn't put two nearly identical dragons on the shelves at the same time. So either we're getting a few live-action sets and LEGO sees how it'll go, or they start with the animated ones to make a whole range of sets across different waves.

    Expand

I would say that personally I’m not expecting the live-action dragons to look very different to their animated counterparts. Obviously the live action dragons will be more detailed with different eyes and photorealistic scales, alongside muted colours probably, but as Lego often makes their brick-built animals slightly more colourful anyway I’d be surprised if Lego dragons based on the live-action film couldn’t also look similar to how they’d look if they were animated. The only giveaways that the sets are portraying the new film will be the new looks of the characters

I imagine they would aim a How To Train Your Dragon theme at all children, rather than being a "boy theme". Both genders enjoy the movies.

I can't see the dragons being much use for Castle, as they are a very specific look for the movies. And if they use more generic dragons then they won't look very much like the movies.

Some of the HTTYD dragons do have a distinctive look, especially Night Furies and Nadders, but I reckon a red Monstrous Nightmare would fit well in a castle display and the two-headed Zippleback could work well as a sea monster

According to brick fanatics, atleast one set next year will include a mosasaurs 🥳🎉

    Expand

That’s amazing news! What a weird coincidence- I went to a fossil shop in the Isle of Wight and bought a mosasaur tooth

I should have bought a Spinosaurus tooth as well, maybe then we’d get one of those in Lego too!

And the Mouth of Sauron didn't even make it into the theatrical version of ROTK so has zero screen time, yet has two minifigures.

    Expand

Don’t get me wrong it’d be amazing if the Old Gaffer’s hole or the mill and bridge were to be made I just think it’s unlikely,

In terms of minifigures the mouth of Sauron is a good example of the potential for obscure hobbits in the new set

  11. I can understand Bag End being a sole set for the Shire - there’s not enough screen time for other parts of Hobbiton to warrant sets and I could see this set including a green area outside for the cart and a tent for the party scene

Im really hoping we get more sets for 2026 - Lego set approvals can be quite sluggish but just like for dnd they should see the appetite for more and therefore increase the amount of sets they make. Either that or we get a full-fledged castle theme at long-last

  12. maybe this is more 2025 discussion but I’m 100% positive we’ll get Acolyte sets now. The unanimously positive response to episode 5 means that, even if Lego weren’t designing sets in advance, they are definitely planning sets now - just like with Ahsoka and Mando season 3 sets from this year they’ll just come out a bit later.

I‘m not saying the new canon has no inconsistencies, but at least we don‘t have authors who try to sabotage each other or outdo each other by coming up with sillier and sillier superweapons. Or how about the theft of the Death Star plans, where in Legends there were like 6 competing stories of how it happened and somehow they were all canon?

He‘s clearly yellow in the trailer, and they seem to go for the whole TLM aesthetic with his faceprint being partially rubbed off  I do wonder if he‘s meant to be a yellow near-human or an actual minifig (as in, he could not exist outside of the LSW universe, similar to how some characters in the LEGO movies would make no sense as anything other than minifigs, like Two-Face in TLBM being made of half-molten plastic)

    Expand

Hopefully the rubbed-off look is just stylistically for the show so that the only difference in the new figure is the dark bluish grey torso - I want Lego to really undermine the scalping reseller market at every opportunity
