  1. One rumor has it being Captain Jack Sparrow’s compass as a gift with purchase with the Black Pearl set
  2. Possibly (hopefully) the new POTC Black Pearly set
  3. Any suggestions where to see these pics of the castle? Ah! Found them. Pretty simple search. Familiar source.
  4. The castle appears to be (amazingly) substantial, yet (rumored to be) priced $100 less than the current Disney Castle. Any word on piece count? …AND Beast’s carriage would be a great GWP.
  5. With the new (rumored) Beauty and the Beast Castle, wouldn’t it make sense to have the Beast figure molded as a “big” figure, similar to the Maui figure or Hulk figure? The big figure would seem to fit his “shape” better than anything. That being said, I’d absolutely prefer minifigures to mini dolls for this set.
  6. Thank you!! This is the problem with Lego Disney sets. They are making Disney World sets and Disneyland sets without thinking about the “display factor.” We got Cinderella Castle (Disney World) and then the Disney Train (Disneyland). Then we got the mini Cinderella Castle (Disney World) and now a mini Haunted Mansion (Disneyland). It makes it difficult to display these sets together. Do I love that we are getting Disney Parks sets? Yes! But I don’t love the thinking that is going into this line.
  7. I am a huge fan of Disney and an equally huge fan of Lego. So the Disney Parks Lego theme is a wish come true. My only complaint is that I wish we would get a consistent theme from Lego. The Disney Castle is from Disney World in Florida. While the Disney Train (and station) is the train (and station) from Disneyland in California. “Purists” find it hard to pair these two sets. So, I have them both but not together. I hope these new mini-Disney sets will stick with Disney World.
  8. A diamond mine set would be amazing! Perhaps we’ll get a mine cart or two with the cottage set.
  9. If we’re lucky enough to get the Snow White Cottage set, would we get seven separate “head molds” for the dwarfs? Seems unlikely. I’m only basing this on the fact that several figs in the CMF series were not given “proper” head molds. I wonder if the set would include Snow White, the witch, Grumpy, and Dopey. They seem to be the most popular dwarfs.
  10. This set carries the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary logo (top right corner). I believe this version of the Mickey mini figure is designed to look like Mickey on opening day on October 1, 1971.
  11. Love that we have a Lego Pluto! I just wish we had him as a minifigure. My preference is to have him appear as he would as a character at Disney World or Disneyland.
  12. After releasing “The Disney Castle” and “The Ice Palace” it would be great to have “Beast’s Castle.” We had several versions of “The Ice Palace” before getting the big set. One can dream! Also, a “Pride Rock” Lion King set would be awesome! Simba, Nala, Rafiki, Timon, Pumbaa, Scar, Hyenas, etc.
  13. Good point. Is there any indication on how Series 2 sales performed? I had heard that the Disney Railroad wasn’t considered a strong seller.
  14. Any thoughts on when we might see Disney Minifigures Series 3?
  15. Would love to see a Disney Parks theme from LEGO. The iconic attractions would be fun builds. Each set could include the characters associated with the attraction and some tourists.
