Yes, mine has finally shipped too. Now lets see how fast it will get to Australia via express. On a side note, how long after the item has shipped do they decide to charge your credit card? Been over a year since I have purchased anything off Lego online.

Mines still on back order. Ordered half an hour after launch. Meanwhile the only place I know of in Australia that will stock this set at the moment, has 45 sets to go on sale on the first. Im not traveling 8 hours to get one though.

Spending $100 Aud for shipping is crazy, but driving hours to pick one up isn't. Am I missing something here?

I hate the waiting game to come over to Australia. I've ordered enough lego now that I know that when it says it is in "Alexandria" that it is still coming from overseas. The manifest has just been created, that's all. I've always opted for the free postage because express is always something like $80 for a $300 set. I didn't want to wait 2 weeks to a month so I thought the extra $100 wasn't too bad on this set considering. That was until it went to backorder the second I paid for it.

If it's showing at Alexandria I don't think it's in aus. My last delivery showed Alexandria for two weeks before it was delivered.
