  1. Thanks for the all the replies! I'll be getting creative with my ship when she arrives, it should be good!
  2. So I've recently managed to get my hands on the old 6211 Imperial star destroyer which has been an absolute pain to get at a decent price. I love the model but I would like to change the interior to a more generic looking star destroyer / whatever I want, i.e Removing Vader's chamber. However, the set is worth a bit of money so I'm in two minds of whether I should just leave it as it is or to tune it to my liking. So what is your opinion on modding / customising sets?
  3. Here is my top 5, 5 being lowest 1 being the best! 5) 2002 Jango Fett. One of my favourite characters in lego form and has a really iconic helmet design in my opinion. 4) Rebel Scout trooper. This one is a bit of an odd choice but I just really love the simple design as it has enough detail for what it is, a trooper. Also I'm absolutely in love with the helmet as well. All in all a great figure. 3) 2002 Clone Trooper! I just really love the episode 2 clone trooper's armour design and I think the original 2002 design is the best version. 2) Old Shadow Trooper. For a simple recolour of a Stormtrooper it's really quite amazing, the colours are striking and make the figure really stand out (Not a good thing considering their role) while not being an eye sore to commanding all your attention. Points for being army build-able. 1) Finally, my number 1 Star wars figure is...................The Battle Droid! Really just a great solid figure, never seen it bre- I'm joking of course :P 1, for real this time) The original Grand Moff Tarkin. More of a nostalgic choice than anything else, I remember getting the original star destroyer when it was released and absolutely loved the set (Currently trying to obtain it again). While I loved the Imperial Royal guard, Tarkin just sort of became my favourite from the set. He has good simple but detailed design and stands out from the other officers with a slightly different suit and higher rank insignia.
  4. I'd really like a proper 1st Order battlepack with more than 1 normal stormtrooper. The price for 1st order stormtroopers is the only thing putting me off army building them. I agree that a new star destroyer would be nice whether OT or TFA version (unsure of name since I've not seen the film). Really feel like the rebels need some love in the battle pack department since the last proper rebel battle pack (Excluding the hoth one) was in 2008/9 (?).
  5. My 2007(?) Imperial Star destroyer. Looks beautiful and had great figures, especially Tarkin. Not really rare or anything but more of a nostalgic choice. Wouldn't mind this scenario being real if it meant all your other stuff just vanished, would help me find all of it's pieces.
  6. Hey everyone! I've recently started a MoC on LDD that I eventually want to build in lego form. Currently I'm having problems with building a frame for the ship, it's my first MoC so I'm quite inexperienced with these things. There is also one massive problem I'm currently having with a diagonal triangular panel that sits between the engine and the sort of side/wing plate. Any help would be appreciated. Intended length of the ship is roughly around 70cm, I've not done much planning as there is very little info on the ship.
  7. Hey everyone I'm Awkwardfryingpan. As the title says, I'm from the Uk with Scotland being more accurate. Recently I've been getting my interest in lego back, mostly for the Star wars theme, and wanted to join your community. Set wise everything I have is in parts and is spread throughout many boxes so I am basically starting from scratch minus the mini-figures. I'm interested in army building either a Clone, Imperial or CIS army (Choosing an army is harder than it seem) as I've never army built before. Other than Star wars army building I have a thing for large ships, like the Imperial star destroyer or the Malevolence but I also like sea based ships as well. Anyway, I'll see you around on the forums! Also any questions feel free to ask I'll try my best to reply!
