Very cool mrklaw! How hard is that to motorize?

Looking for a train set to go with my modulars - FB, GE, PS... Thinking about the passenger train and making a nice, smaller scale layout with a street and RR tracks in front of the buildings... is that the train to go with? Sort of looking for a commuter kind of motif...

Not sure what it is, but this set really intrigues me. Available at the stores yet or just online?

I just start with a basic concept - truck, plane, apc... Then build until you are satisfied. I think that's the beauty of Lego... Just follow your own creativity man.

Onatu, Some of the smaller city sets are pretty nice - the new garbage truck, the tipper, the dirt bike transport... the creator houses are nice as well and tend to have higher element counts than other sets for the money (I believe). The lighthouse island is a fantastic set $40 and you can pick up the log cabin for $20 on sale at walmart now...

Thanks guys. Just want to build. Don't care about secondary market value... So customer service is good about these things? Also, can I assume that if all the bags are present and unopened, that the set is pristine? Anyone know how many bags in a GE?

I've got the pet shop, the brigade and the emporium sitting in the closet and waiting for some time to build them... I regularly build smaller sets, but the time commitment has forced me to delay. Anyway, I just noticed that one of the stickers sealing the set was cracked or slashed or something... the others are fine (one corner seems to have multiple sticker seals), but I am hoping the set on the inside is okay... the box is flawless, but I'm just a bit concerned. Thoughts?

Excellent point Nate... I'd love to see an exclusive during halloween each year like they do at christmas... Cemetery, tombs, would be great.

It's not the UCS falcon, but I really enjoyed that build, and the model looks great. The Avengers sets look too <insert that tiresome argument> / agents to me.

I have never been so excited for a set to be honest. Do we have confirmation that this will in fact come out?

Anyone made a modular out of the MMV? I saw a few cool ones on flickr, and wonder if anyone here had that idea... I'd like to do something with the two buildings and wedge them between the two pet shop buildings... any thoughts?

Agreed. Wild card here though - the MMV is almost gone... some sort of combo perhaps? MMV and save for helms deep?

Have $56 left on my lego card and 15 on my VIP... should I take back the following for credit: farnsworth house, creator light house and the new city tipper truck for $120? That would give me close to $200 for the LOTR sets that drop this month...

Personally, I'm a huge fan of the new falcon. Not UCS. But I was able to get it on sale for 100. The build was fun, and you get an original trilogy set (always better than the new sets). I'd go with that one. Closer to scale as well.

Speaking of figures, I love these new forest fire fighters. The yellow print is awesome. Picked up two of the fire atv today at TRU for bogo 50%.

Just built the new off road fire truck - 4208. Nice build. Reminds me of the old coast guard heli. Great little set. Totally worth $20. The new fire figs are EXCELLENT. Love the new print. The sliding gear area on the truck is cool too. I love the area for the fire commander. Awesome touch. Go grab this set. I may go get another tomorrow along with the ATV..
