As someone who owns both that and the Talon set, I can confirm that it is indeed white
How did you get it before the street date?

Yes. The downside is if it comes in a box with others, then they will only sell you the whole box.
What number do I use?

I noticed that a huge percentage of the pieces in the "Build a Minifigure" section of the LEGO store are from collectible minifigures. I'm wondering if these are just surplus parts that never made it into minifigure bags, or what? Does LEGO just send their excess parts to the LEGO stores? Just wondering if anyone knows.
There are a limited number of CMF bags made, Lego creates more than enough and the surplus goes to the Lego Stores several years later.

I was just thinking about this, one thing I wish Bricks and Pieces counted towards is say promotion price thresholds. If it did count it would give me more reason to save for a B&P order, oh well i'll have to make a small order when some of the ice age animals are in stock online. B&P orders do count towards VIP points correct?
Yes for every penny you get 0.01 points. You can spend your saved points on B&P as well

I just received my copy of the set a few hours ago and finished building it about two hours ago. As someone who complained about the set when the first picture leaked I must apologize. The shape looks almost perfect from every angle and the designing process that went into the play features is just breathtaking. Comparing it to my other creator expert cars (I have all of them) I have to say it looks the most appealing by far. I especially love the ejector seat - as expected - but the way it was pulled off blew my mind. (I didn't look at those GIFs because I didn't want to ruin it for myself)
All in all this might be in the top ten list of my favorite sets of all time and I almost feel bad for criticizing it so much at firstThis right here.

$70 for 496 pieces... that’s insane. That’s around 14 cents per piece. The worst big set from the original lego movie line was around 11 cents per piece
I’m guessing this is another 76117 event, where the original price is listed is wrong and gets changed to knock off $60.

There was also the version in the Big Bang Theory set, but the new HP one is clearly a better solution and has been anticipated since those early leaks.
I completely forgot about that green lantern.

It’s a 2019 set.
Lego used to set the street date to 1st January but all the stores in America released them early so Lego just runs with it. It won’t come out until 1st January 2019 in the UK.
It’s a 2019 set.

Flesh licensed heads anyone?
You could always try calling up for them.

What other sets will be released in 2019? There’s only one way to find out!
P.S. I’ll add the Spider-Man pictures later as I currently don’t have time but it will be done.

"In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight.
Let those who worship evil's might
Beware my power Green Lantern's light!"
After seeing the new lantern piece, I thought to myself "What's stopping me from putting different colours in the lantern?" Nothing is. Then that's where the lightbulb lit up like fireworks on 4th of July: Green Lantern's Lantern! I like the lantern from the 2015 set; the designers did very god work with the old lantern considering the scale and the pieces they had available back in 2015. However, with the addition of the new piece I feel it looks a better scale than 2015. Honest opinions are appreciated and welcome.
Expect to see some more photos soon

Is there a topic for general discussion of Bricks and Pieces and new parts availability? I know this thread is aimed specifically at availability of licensed elements on B&P. If this is the only active topic on the matter, that's fine too.
Nah we get absolutely wild here, you're welcome to join us sir!

Do you think the new hair pieces from the Harry Potter sets (Dumbledore, young Hermione, Filch...) will be available on BnP?
I would expect a couple of them to become available.

Well, now that we have our first official images, descriptions, and prices for at least three of the sets so far, should this topic be renamed back to being a concrete set discussion topic, or should a separate topic be created?

I think it should be renamed

Oh, crash, you're right. I just inspected the packaging again; the bags were cut open along the side and taped up.
Okay, if you think they'll allow it.
Since it isn’t Lego’s fault, I think you should exchange it at the shop.

Yes, I managed to order 35827 (the tree costume) back in May. It was available online, and retailed for £1.51.
(this is my first post ever by the way)
Did you order the log cross section as well?

Hello Gomek, I agree fully with your concerns and TLG's steps into creating artificial scarcity by themselvss, like the retro policeman is as well. I think it doesn't fits to Lego's original philosophy and I hope such things remain outliers really.
I don’t mind os much stuff like the police officer as that was the same price as other minifigures and he wasn’t that rare. Things that do frustrate me are the ‘Con Exclusives.
