    Burj Dubai

Hi inspired by Srezkall and Torgugick I began to work on my own skyscrapers. So what would be the best way to start with the biggest ever built? After months of planing I finally finished my virtual Burj Dubai HIGH RESOLUTION PICTURE This set will be updated periodically with more pics of the virtual building and also with the recent state of the real one. The finished model will be 2m tall. Hope you like it At this place I would like to greet Srezkall, who also builds the Burj Dubai Sebastian
  3. cool, just 4 cannons but 8 cannonholes ok, it's a nice set
  4. thanks thanks thanks You are right, the inside is now a dead-zombi-trophy-room
  5. Thank you. No, I did not design it specially as a zombi version. The idea came from the comment on BB Thanks
  6. Hi there A few weeks ago Brothers-Brick posted my Garbage Truck on their website. What was the first reaction? "It needs apocifacation." So here it is: FlickR Have fun rgds Sebastian
  7. thanks I know, it's only orange and grey, but unfortunately it's like on the real truck. thanks for your comment thanks for your comment To the point of mudguards. I tried it with 1 plate more space between fenders and wheels, but it didn't look right. I also tried 1/2 plate offset. Maybe I just set the driver's cab one plate higher. I think this lowrider style (as aawsum says) comes from the very low bumper on the front. @aawsum, Fumoffu, Milan: thanks for your comments
  8. thanks yes, it is. you can also see this image in my flickr-gallery thanks for comment and this other funny pic thanks the katanas are supposed do be hedge clippers thanks thanks thanks the next one is in work thanks now you only need all these pieces in trans-orange
  9. thanks thanks Hi ILikePi Thanks for your comment On the one side I built these kind of spheres on my own before I discovered BrickShelf or Flickr, on the other side I already gave credits for this special Death Star design, as you can see below the pictures on Flickr. Furthermore I added an equator.

  17. seems like this set splits the AFOLs into two groups...
  18. Hi first of all, this is a beautiful set. PROs: + nice design of the merry go round + color selection + brick-built horses + up-and-down mechanism CONs: + the motor (and its design) on the outside + canvas as top, could have done better with bricks like TLC prooved with the Taj Mahal BUT I think that motor on the outside has also practical issues. The speed on a spinning circle is much lower on the outside than on the inside. Now imagine how fast the motor turns. As you see the motor already has a gear ratio (from a little 8-teeth gear to a huge 40-teeth gear). Now imagine the gearbox needed to drive the carrousel from the inside! I claim it would not fit inside the carrousel in combination with the mechanism for up-and-down. 2nd BUT: TLC could have built the motor and battery box in a a little building next to the carrousel, like in the inside of the ticket office
  19. Hi there I built this train in MLCAD http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=377940 Sebastian
  20. There are five things I noticed: (from left to right) 1. this seems to be a new piece with matches with this 2. how are these tan lines built? I hope they aren't stickers... 3. this piece? but it seems like there is a tile on top of it 4. a new piece (like this but lower) 5. are the wheels copied from BBB? In the new issue from railbricks it is said that TLG haven't got informations about these wheels there are no waterstamps on this picture so I decided to show it here
  21. no, there isn't a set with this number. maybe you mean 10184 (town plan) or 10174 (AT-ST) also there are sets 10190 (market street), 10191 (star justice), 10192 (space skulls) and 10193 (medieval market), but no 10194

  24. Hi I found the answer. There are 470.00 in the 2D-World. I forgot to crush the very first and second blocks...
  25. Hi I'm currently playing the Lego Batman Videogame and have a problem to finish it. I'm talking about the bonus Level, called "Wayne Minor" where you have to find 1.000.000. My problem: I only can find 980.000 - in the "Super-Mario-like"-Part I found 450.000 - in the area with the chequered pattern I destroyed all propellors and got 500.000 - after those two areas you come back to the outside of Wayne Minor and both times you can grap 10.000 - after the garden work (destroying all molehills and plants) you get another 10.000 makes 980.000 in total. The bulldozer and the lawn mover are pointless. The don't do anything I can't do with any armed character. Does someone know where I can find the last 20.000? Thanks for reading. Best wishes Sebastian
