  1. I'm not a "scripting-shark" :)
  2. Hi folks. Is there any brick building software out there where bricks can interact with each other, like if you want to use two technic gears and see them turn? I want to make some animations. //Paul.
  3. Please delete my thread.
  4. Hey everyone. I've submitted a design on Threadless with a Lego minifig with its head attached to its leg, with the text saying 'This...is NOT funny'. I will be the happiest man on the planet if you have time to go vote for my design. Threadless will each week review the submitted designs and pick the favorites among the community. This will give me the chance to earn some money, and you could end up wearing my print. So go visit https://www.threadle...gns/exasperated and you will become...awesome. (You will have to log in before you can give a score, but you can easily do that with your facebook account.) And remember to spread the word. From the bottom of my heart... Thank you.

  6. Hi folks. Here's my LDD creation of a freight-train tower from Copenhagen in Denmark. If you are familiar with the old danish movie 'Olsen Banden på Sporet' (The Olsen Gang on the Track) from 1975, you will probably recognize it. The building is still there today but it is not used anymore, and it's colored yellow. I kept the color of the model just like in the movie. There's a couple of things in the model which is not true to the real tower, because the bricks aren't available in LDD. Download

    Hal9000

I wikied that and it says: 'Although it is often conjectured that the name HAL was based on a one-letter shift from the name IBM, this has been denied by both Clarke and Stanley Kubrick.'

    Hal9000

Hello Daves (all you) Here's a fun and really simple model of the Hal 9000 computer from the movie "2001 a space odyssey". Nothing fancy, just a quick simple model Download
  12. Nice to hear that everyone can explore my model.
  13. Hi everyone. A new building is available for download. This time it's the Ferring International Center/Pharmaceuticals in Ørestad City, Denmark. Just like the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel I made a while back, the logos on the building is made in Photoshop, since custom decals is unavailable as you all know. Picture of the real building In case of LDD is crashing upon loading the model, follow these three steps. 1. Go to the settings in LDD. 2. Uncheck "High-quality rendering of bricks placed in the scene". (If it still crashes, try uncheck "High-quality of bricks in the Brick Palette in the settings.) 3. Restart LDD and then load the building. Download Contains 13178 bricks, just a heads up for you guys with a slower computer.
  14. Thanks for the replies folks. I have decided to use a door frame with glass in it for the highride part of the building. I found out that it took too many bricks and the computer got slower because of it.
  15. I hope this image describes what I want. The flat tiles has to be a bit thinner and connects to the main window frame.
  16. Hi folks. I haven't been in the forum for a while. Since I'm in the process of making a building in LDD, the question still remains. Is it still totally impossible to make custom parts/bricks for LDD? The windows in my building has to have a certain look to it, thin horizontal plates across the windows as you can see on the attached image. By placing the windows next to each other, it's going to look like the plates are covering the entire building.
  17. The model is available for download again. I apologize for the unavailability some of you may have experienced when trying to get the model. Have fun. Paul.
  18. So fellas. Once again thanks for your kind help, I really appreciate that. Some of you is probably wondering what I'm building. I'm building a church in Denmark, but I'm on a small break from the project because there's a bit to do. I will continue the project in a couple of days. Until then, here's an image of what I have made so far. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15855227/Lego/lddc.jpg Again, thanks.
  19. Simply brilliant Bojan. I'm no math genius so you just saved my day. I just imported the model you attached and it fits perfectly. THANKS ...and everyone else, thank you very much for your replay...I appreciate your help. Have a good one. - Paul.
  20. Well the curve has to be on the left side of the red line. Well it doesn't matter if angle 2-7 is as close to each other numerically , it just have to form a be a proper "round" curve, without too much of a gab where the hinges is. - Paul
  21. I had to make a link instead. - Paul
  22. Hi fellow brickers. Is there a math genius who can solve my problem? I'm trying to figure out what the exact angles of the hinges are, on a model I'm making. https://skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx?cid=fa1897de68ef1702&resid=FA1897DE68EF1702!301&parid=FA1897DE68EF1702!300&authkey=!AIkFOmEefzZn29w On the link above, you can see what I'm talking about. It's the hinges 1-7 I'm trying to figure out. The arch I'm making has to fit so I can put a two-dot brick in between (8) the orange end of the arch and the green brick at the end, if you know what I mean. So anyone, please help me out. Kind regards Paul in Denmark.
  23. Thank you so much you guys, I appreciate it.
