    I heard it's going to be announced on the 30th. j/k I heard months ago that Lego was considering making a minor-modular set that would be a park/fountain/fence/paths but it would still fit as part of their street design. Did they go anywhere with this?

    I like the idea of Lego releasing a normal building like other years and then for the 10 year anniversary they release a park or some sort of smaller set that still works for the modular street.

    I would love it if Lego would release something related to the modular line to make the street look more complete. A park/recycling center would be cool. Statues or fountains? Traffic lights or powerlines? It would keep the modular exictement up during the summer and wouldnt have to be expensive.

    I do make my own modulars. But, still, there is so much talent out there in the AFOL world that Lego could make a contest to see who could make the most of an $80 modular set. We could vote on it, too. I think it would be fun and it might even get more people in Lego.

    I don't understand the desire among AFOL's to find some clue in past sets. You'll never know if your right even if a clue does exist until the set comes out, so why bother? (I don't believe any clues exist). I understand its fun to speculate but why base that speculation on something that probably doesn't in the first place? Okay, now my question For the past sets, about how much time before the release date did a leaked photograph or official photograph appear on the net? Also, how come Lego doesn't let one of us design a set kind of like Market Street every year? This could always be a less expensive set of $80 or so and could be released every fall. That way we could have to modulars every year. In fact, it doesn't even have to be a modular building. It could be a park, recycling center, or some other city lot that would work well for the street.

    It's been 2 weeks since the original post on this topic. Is there any new information on this set? I'm seriously anxious for it. At least the VW Hippy Van is coming out soon.

    I have looked everywhere and I cannot find when the Creator set 5767 "Cool Cruiser" is supposed to be released in the US. I've noticed it has been released in Europe and is not supposed to be released in Australia until this fall. Does anyone have any information about when Lego.com or any retailers are getting this set out?

    In the past, has Lego made annoucements for exclusive sets on strategic days? I'm wondering, for instance, if its usually done on a Friday, the first of the month, over the weekend, etc. Also, how come certain stores are already receiving early editions of 10218 (like the one that was peeked at a few weeks ago)? Is this for them to assemble for store display or is there another purpose?
