The blacksmith Tirion Surehammer is known throughout the land for his excellent blade making skills, so much so that we was moved to the city of Albion by Sir Henry Drake himself. Working out of his home Tirion typically likes to work alone only taking a apprentice every five years or so. On this day Sir Henry Drake has stopped in to have his famous axe "bloodhowl" sharpened by the only man who knows how. Enjoy, C&C welcome!

Albion: the capital city of Avalonia
Silver.Smith replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
I was really hoping to make a whole section of the wall including the gatehouse, all 4 plots were right next to each other. May I have at least the gatehouse 2 and plots 24 and 25? I actually already have the blacksmith (plot 24)done since starting tonight. -

Tower submitted to the main history forum, sorry about the harsh light on the photos, it got dark before we could take them under natural light. -
Originally built by the dwarves over 700 years ago the tower of Belduń served as an above-ground reminder of the Dwarves former glory. As the western Dwarves power waned and the Avalonia Guild rose to prominence in the region the tower was turned over to Avalonia with the charge of protecting the trade route from raiding parties. There is rumor that the tunnel directly below the tower once connected the underground kingdom of the dwarves to the surface. Whatever remained of the tunnel has since collapsed leaving behind only a small section currently being used as underground prison cells for bandits and the random Nocturnus raider. The tower is located on the trade road just miles from the border of Mitgardia and a days walk from the eastern kingdom of Nocturnus. On this particular day our Hero Sir Henry Drake and his band of marauders has apprehended two Nocturnus Orc scouts. Because of the constant treat of Nocturnus raiding parties into Avalonia Sir Henry takes no chances with these spies and turns them over to the guard master at the tower of Belduń. Thanks for reading and enjoy the pictures! Tower of Belduń Moc Page

I agree with you completely, it would be nice if every guild had one shield/crest and one set of colors to work from. -

I've had this same issue in the past, and I no longer remove the arms from the torso they came on as a result. It's possible the force of disconnecting the arm smushed the plastic out of spec or the ring that connects the arm part to the torso part got smashed together. -

Agreed, I think unity amongst the primary forces of Avalonia is important. Also, one of the best (and cheapest) sets for dragon barding, dragon plate armor and a dark grey torso is on sale this week at toys r us in the USA, buy one get one half off. I started building some land out last knight with a few basic structures so when we get our build orders from up high we can get somethings out there quickly to compete with the other guilds. Do you know when these build orders will come in? Also, I like the idea of having a unified color, not every fig could have the colors but at least a representative (or leader) from the main Avalonian guild. -

Sir Henry Drake and his band of marauders at your service. From Left to right Anvar of the Flamebeard clan (Dwarven Rifleman), Sir Henry Drake (Human Warrior), Finrick Winterfire (Gnome Battle-Mage), Caedor Adveth (Night Elf Archer), Evelyn (Human Rogue) (picture of the marauders to come tonight when I get back home from work) (Also, are there any current sets that have the sand green flag included?) -

Does Kingdoms live up to Castle expectations?
Silver.Smith replied to K-Nut's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I was a huge fan of the crownies and dwarves that preceded the Lion and Dragon Knights, those sets are what got me back into Lego in the first place, especially the medieval market place. I really like the move to pearl colored weapons and armor, they just look so much better than the dark grey of yore. That being said I really like the Lion knights, the colors are perfect (when not printed with pink instead of white) and from a MOC perspective the King's castle and mill village raid give excellent parts for building. However, I am not a huge fan of the Dragon Knights structures, the black pieces are not super useful on a typical medieval MOC. -
I don't know what it is, but I really really like the green mountain face.
