That telescope bell is super clever
It seems to me that the sides of the ship are a bit low; wouldn't it be fairly easy to fall off in rough seas?

yeah, sorry, i meant if it was some kind of thicker cotton but i guess even thin cotton can be ironed to get rid of all the little wrinkles that come with soaking

what material did you use for the rigging and sails, btw?
it might also be a good idea to put in technic axles in the centers of the 2x2x11 columns; if anything, theyll stave off the inevitable snapping of the masts during rigging
getting the longer ones may be too expensive, so using a combination of short axles 4-8L should give some stability (assuming you use the columns with the pin holes)
the curve of the hull is amazing; how was it done?
from the smaller boat i see you have a continuous length of hull, but... how do you get the rectangular bricks to bend that way???
