Are you joking? The last Ghostbuster movie came out in 1989. Long before the kids collecting today were even born. So unless they've seen the movie, the theme isn't marketed at them. The rumored third film might change that, but as it stands it's really not for kids. The theme song is pretty popular and iconic so some kids might know it but I doubt that helps drive any sales of the set. Scooby-Doo however is a multi-generational theme. It has on-going shows, movies, and merchandise. Everyone knows Scooby-doo. Blasphemy!

This is sarcasm...isn't it.

1) They'd run out of stuff to make into sets really quick and the line would die 2) Scooby-doo appeals to kids and adults, Ghostbusters doesn't 3) Scooby-doo would make more money

Well it...you see, it...just sits there and does nothing. -
The Black Knight didn't have anything to do with a plane. He was in a wooden crate being carried to a museum in a truck when the Mystery Gang first found the truck crashed on the side of the road. I don't really recall any plane episode except for the skeleton men which was in season 3. As for the lighthouse, it'll most definitely be Captain Cutler. His creepy old witch wife lived in their lighthouse that Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby visited during the episode. It might come with a boat too considering the actual confrontation took place in a ship graveyard. The Mansion could be based on the episode with these pretty iconic guys that takes place in a "supposedly haunted mansion": Dracula, Wolfman, and Frankenstein are possibilities but that episode was in a castle rather than a mansion. Headless Specter really isn't that interesting or iconic to put into a set, but you never know. I wonder how they'd pull off the headless effect. Monster Fighters did pretty bad though from what I remember...Scooby doo will make a lot more money. Kinda how they're doing Jurassic World instead of another failed Dino line.

Is this true??? Yes!!! Scooby will probably be a new mold similar to how Gollum was done, but probably with more flexibility. AHHH SO EXCITED!!!

Episode 7 sets in September? Why!? That's way too early, not to mention plot spoilers!! How and why did Disney ever allow this? Aw man, the final duel is expensive! So much for a cheap way of getting emperor palpatine! I'll still buy it of course though. Don't know why it needs to be so expensive though...Are we getting a reactor shaft too?

Maybe to put the bike back in? -
Guys, your bias is showing...The Green Goblin isn't a bad fig. It has nice printing and is well made. The problem is that it's NOT the Green Goblin we want. That's why it sucks. Marvel: Best- 1) Storm. Would be better with a headpiece though!! 2) Ronan. Awesome headpiece! 3) MODOK. It's amazing we even got this fig! 4) Wolverine with Cowl Worst- 1) Mandarin Do I really need to go on? 2) USM Doc Oc. Hideous and bad printing. 3) Chitauri. They needed a helmet mold and they're over printed to the point where you're not sure what you're looking at. 4) First Avengers Hawkeye or Black Widow. Horribly inaccurate 5) Aldrich Killian. Doesn't even look like him... DC: Best- 1) Classic Wonderwoman. Super awesome printing 2) Classic Martian Manhunter. Love the collar & cape combo. Wish movie Vision had it. 3) Cyborg- would be better with arm cannon though Worst- 1) Colonel Hardy Talk about Generic 2) Movie Bane. Hideous and lame. Did anyone really want this fig..? 3) Catwoman sucks too. Hate that headpiece. 4) Hospital Harley Quinn is just..lame 5) Lois Lane. Nice Torso print, but suffers from female superhero minifig syndrome. Inaccurate face + basic hair combo. Overall: both themes have pretty equally good and bad figs. DC's problem is too many Batman figs that just aren't that good and also not enough leg printing on the figs that need it. Marvel's problem is bad movie figs and choosing to base figs on USM designs which are terribly designed from the get go. Good thing that show is being canceled!! These themes have a lot of room for improvement but we'll get there one day!

Honestly the part where Emmet moves himself really bothers me. They give no explanation to it at all. He just can so that the story can move along. Is he magic, does the kid has telekinesis? Introducing human characters in the movie really just complicated things because it doesn't allow things to just happen without explanation. I get it's a kids movie and it's not real...but if everything before is actually supposed to have happened in the kids mind, why would you go and introduce the concept that maybe the legos can actually move themselves too. And now we're officially in Toy Story land..sigh..

Sounds like a Toy Story 3 type situation where the kid thinks he's too old for toys but then realizes in the end he still loves them. Yawn. Personally, I really hated the human parts of the lego movie.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Ultron replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
So on the DC there should be no discussion at all right now? We're speculating. It's all we can do at this point until we get something concrete. It's perfectly on topic to discuss things we very well could be seeing in the sets that we know are coming. Some of it perhaps borders on wish list, but that's for a mod to decide and correct. -

The bike I imagine will be a cool feature but if it falls at the bottom won't it just fall over when it drops out...? Idk. If it's lame and the interior doesn't fit many Avengers, hopefully the bike feature is easy to take out. Doesn't Lego realize we want planes that can fit all of the important people? Not gimmicks that hinder that. The Milano was practically perfect! Only thing is we didn't get a minifig size groot to go along. Just a little potted one in the polybag. **I'm just going to ignore the senseless bantering and continue talking about upcoming sets. Stop modding, if it really is a problem a mod will step in. At this point, a mod is more likely to stop you mini-modders than the discussion that has been going on** Something tells me you said that just to be funny -

Actually it's the last movie in phase 2. Kinda strange but that's what they said. -
I think it looks great. But they definitely should've showed more of his powers. And I really liked him flying on the ant, not gonna lie

Kind of. The lightsaber rod is 4 studs long, and the one I'm talking about is only 3 studs long. So it's shorter because a standard lightsaber rod would be too long for black widow to hold and would look kinda weird -

Yep, got it today! Luckily the shipper lived in PA and I live in OH And yeah, it is the mermaid hair in dark brown. But I just found out they have the 3L wand in transblue! I'm definitely going to order some of those for Black Widow if they're not included in the Quinjet. The mermaid hair is a lot more accurate in terms of style. I'm tired of Lego giving our female heroes that over the shoulder hairpiece so I'm gonna give her this one so she looks better and stands out. -

That's really nice printing, but they just don't look like Ultron at all The helmet piece looks like an actual helmet and not a head. I'm disappointed to say the least..
