Pivotal* I think is the word you're searching for Though truthfully I don't get the either/or argument; why can't we have them all?
-
I wonder if you can crack open Tom Riddle Sr.'s grave for potion ingredients This theme is putting every other one to shame.
-
Im shocked they gave us that klan-inspired death eater design. The Carriage is amazing, wish I had kept my old Durmstrang ship intact!

The community would be pretty boring then...leaks can be good for their business. It's free press for them.

Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

So glad for Maria Hill as the last version was straight booty despite being in an expensive set. -
While it wasn't entirely the set, I was interested in watching the Voltron Netflix series and knowing there was a Lego set based on the property definitely helped me take the plunge to watch the series. Now after all is said and done I've just ended up upset because 1) it's based on the original Voltron mech and 2) we'll never get actual sets based on the show.
-
Inherently I would think they would avoid the set altogether then as that itself could very well be a spoiler to said people, but I see the reasoning.
-
Is it really necessary to use spoiler tags? The first season has been out for like 3 years now and I don't think anyone clicking on this thread wouldn't be a fan.

It was just a joke.

Plot twist: this set is microscale with no real figs, only microfigs. Can you imagine if that were the case
-
No, the horntail wings appear to be the exact same ones from the original horntail. Everything else is brickbuilt except the head, which looks bad
-
Someone sent me pictures. They look almost exactly like the drawings on instagram
-
So the pictures I guess are leaking The horntail is really just bad. Glad I have the old one. This set overall isnt great as far as builds go so it’s a good thing there are exclusive figures. This is the problem with brick built creatures..mixed bag. The castle is pretty dang awesome!! I like that is has snowy accents. This is definitely the best version of the Knight Bus. Hagrids Hut is great too. Glad we get a good amount of the pumpkins.

Still too soon, man. A corpsey version of Barb would be awesome, let's face it. I think it's entirely more likely they would just include parts to swap out and decorate the house with to make it the upside down version rather than include two houses.
-
Well, as out of left field as this seems to be I'll say it would be cool to get Barb as a fig, but that seems a bit unlikely. Loved her in S1. I do hope they use the new mid sized legs for the kids.

As awesome as this wave is shaping up to be, if we get snubbed on Fang for like the 5th time I'll be crushed
-
I just want the dang Hex Girls and some classic villains

While this is my personal opinion, it is really nice to see that Harry Potter has returned as the king of all licensed themes. We get locations, creatures, vehicles..all of it. And this little $20 set is a great example of why this theme is so great. The designers care about the theme. I feel Superheroes and Star Wars has really lost that these past years, imo. Those have just turned to "how can we do the least amount of effort and turn the biggest profit," but this theme feels different. Like they just really want to make good sets for the fans. Now I'm sure Harry Potter is in a slightly different situation because Superheroes and SW are somewhat limited with secrecy surrounding the movies, but some of the stuff they've been putting out regardless is nothing to have pride about. To the boy who lived!

I wouldn't say that. There's also a big castle build in that set, skewing the price difference.

Stan is surprisingly a pretty cool minifig. Love the hat

I'm going to need a comics Vision at some point. Vision is red to me, not pink. They also still haven't even corrected the MCU's eye color and we're three movies for him in, 3 different sets over 4 years. It's sad they can't do that one small thing for us. -

It's likely we'll get sets based on The Clone Wars, which will be on Disney + so I wouldn't completely rule it out. We'll have to see how/if they do merchandise for the platform -
Yeah, please don't talk down to me about Harry Potter. That's not going to go well for you. I'm very aware they are slightly different than the classic zombie creature, but for all intents and purposes they are zombies. It's her take on a zombie, much like her goblins are different from tradition depictions of goblins. And no need to restate Cedric isn't in the set. I never said the set includes dead children, but that it's the subject matter of the entire scene. You can't just remove the dark premises of that scene. Exclude Cedric again all you want, you've still got a man who just cut off his hand, an evil dark lord who was just a grotesque corpse of an infant and is now prancing around on the grave of his family and torturing children, and a horde of racist cultists.
-
The plot is to lure Harry there, perform serious dark magic including severing body parts, bleeding children, and desecrating graves, and then murder him so, yes, the set is still based around murdering 14-year-old children among other things. A reanimated corpse is the definition of a zombie..magic or not. You're being picky with semantics. They play more of a role than Susan Bones, and here we are. A small set with the horcrux cave is entirely possible should the theme go on long enough.
-
I mean, if we might be getting a set situated around murdering children (graveyard set) then zombies are where we draw the line? I definitely think it's possible. Harry Potter just gets kind of dark from the mid to the end, you can't fully ignore it. Even with sets.
