I have hope these movies will be good. JK Rowling is penning them herself and she gave us 7 fantastic books that will last for generations. I have a feeling these movies will be just as good. And it's not a prequel trilogy. It's just set before the events of the other books/movies. I'd classify a prequel as something that deals more with the first wizarding war, Harry's parents, the order being founding, etc. I am glad Peter Jackson is staying far from these though. He'd find a way to put his own, stupid twist on it. Probably with a dumb love triangle that shouldn't/couldn't ever exist. Wait...that sounds familiar..

Not to turn this into a Marvel vs DC thing because those are so annoying, but as a fan of both properties, I think you need to cut Marvel some slack. I personally don't believe the scripting would even be better than Marvels with high profile comic book writers like that. It's not always so easy to translate a dialogue in a book directly to tv and have it work. Plus Marvel has really good scripting. So, just let the universes coexist. One doesn't have to be better than the other. They're in different places, so there's no real comparison until DC has an intertwining universe which won't be for a few years.

Apparently the Russo Brothers are now rumored to be directing Avengers 3. Not sure how I feel about that either! I love Whedon and what he has done with Avengers (and let's be honest, Avengers 2 will be amazing too) so it makes me sad if he doesn't get to use Thanos whether it be Avengers 3 or 4. Especially when it was him who set Thanos up! Not sure how much truth there is to this rumor, but it is something to think about! I've heard that rumor. That'd be so crazy, but I could definitely see it happening!

So many feelings. I don't know what to think or say. I can't tell if I'm thrilled or pissed. I don't want Bucky or Falcon to be sidelined by this. But if this really does happen, it'll confirm so many things.

I don't see how that would make sense. If it were to appear it'd probably be in Avengers 3 at the earliest. They've barely shown the tower, they're not going to shove the mansion in the movie too. Hill, Coulson, MCU Fury, Winter Soldier, MCU Falcon, WS Cap, and maybe a SHIELD agent or two are all I really want from the Helicarrier, although more would be nice too.

That may be true of the DC heroes, but not of the entire superhero line. Lego Marvel is successful because of the Avengers. It doesn't owe anything to batman. So don't ask us to get over something when we've had enough of him.

Unless it's a set based on Avengers Assemble instead or something? But I can't imagine why they'd have a show based set in this wave Any fortresses in the show?

If there really is a $300 helicarrier set coming...next year is going to be one expensive year! AoU sets alone, not to mention antman and possibly more summer wave sets (potentially secret wars or something) and now maybe a UCS helicarrier! I said I wanted a big marvel set but $300 is a lot!!

76029: Avengers "Iron Man", -I'm guessing this will be something like Iron Man vs 2 Ultron Drones 76030: Avengers Offroader, with Thor, -Some sort of small vehicle? Shield doesn't really exist in the movies anymore so I'm assuming this may be Black Widows Motorcycle and Thor is also in the set? Maybe Stark designed some more vehicles for the Avengers? 76031: Avengers Hulk, Scarlet Witch, -Could be a Hydra set with Scarlet Witch battling Hulk or something which I heard a rumor about. Could also be the Hulkbuster set and iron man is included in there along with SW. 76032: Avengers Space Ship, Captain America, -Definitely the new Quinjet. I think they'll keep Ultron to an earthly-threat for this movie but who knows? 76038: Avengers Tower, -Obviously the Avengers Tower. Hopefully it's well built. 76041 Avengers Fortress, -I was thinking this is either a Hydra "fortress" or base or maybe Ultron's Fortress if he makes one of those? That'd be really cool!!!! Couldn't agree more. I hate him, hate his inclusion in the lego movie, and hate, hate, hate this decision.

Secret Wars would be awesome as a lego line...we would get so many new heroes and costumes!!

I'd love for a new mold. A more upright one that's more posable or at least has a rotating head.
