Great prices from kmart but it seems to me that there doing their old trick where they have minimal stock on offer. My 2 local kmarts had no HP stock as of yesterday.

Well I'm going to have to eat humble pie, just back from Target at northland and I walked in at a slow pace knowing there was like 30 Diagon Alley and about the same Hogwarts Castle. I get to the shelf and they are empty everything is gone, I grabbed the dude working there and he goes they have some at the back, comes back with one Diagon Alley a bit ruffed up and goes its all they have left. I bought it anyhow and might head into the city see if they have a castle or two.

Can't see there being many people at Target, I was at Myer for their sale 28% off all Lego and they had the tower and only 4 people where there when it opened. Target only have 20% off Lego and the Harry potter set is even less.

I gave them such a serve today that I got a email from them explaining they had some tech difficulty with my order. Bascially there online store is a joke, emails are sent to someone in head office that calls around for stock after the order is processed. Unless you can get the stock instore give this a miss, DJ is the same I had to return a grand emporium last year that was pancaked.

Well I've never been happy with TOYRUS, not enough stock and too high prices. Here's my experince with Myers Online I ordered a Imperial Flagship and a QAR from Myer online with the discount code just in case I couldn't get it in store. About 3 days later I got a email asking for my credit card details so I called them as Im not sending credit card details over email. I received another email from them today saying both items are now out of stock. I called and go what are you on about they where in stock when I bought them, the lady goes well I called our store today and they dont have any stock available and that I will get a refund. Maybe there picking up some tips from kmart who have the same hopeless online store.

The price for the harry castle is awesome, let hope they have stock I was happy with Myers, scored a tower bridge, flagship and a sorting head. I have a set of 3 heads now very usefull and they look great. Also on the way home I stopped past Kmart and bang, the shuttle has made it home. They had some secruity tags on there so I sent the girl off to the back to get me one without it as it stuffs up the box.

If I intend on buying a set to build then US is fine, I have a whole heap of Prince of Persia stuff coming from B&N. If the set is for my collection where my standards of box condition come into play then I have to buy local, I'd rather spend 20% - 30% more than the US to get the perfect box with all english presentation. Also I reckon when and if you sell the sets in 2 - 3 years where the price is 100% - 200% above the price you paid you will be glad you got the Aus box. To fund my upcoming tower bridge I had to let go of a batman tumbler. My standards are very high, one crease and its out. Edit: using the lego is a investment works as a good argument on the wife as well :)

That's the big thing, sure all the stores have all these exclusives but if its like 5 per store than good luck. I for one will be there super early knocking on the door at Myer, "let me in I need to buy lego!!!!!!!" If anyone else is there say hello I will be holding the tower bridge

Myer catalogue just turned up, tower bridge is $319, and the flagship is $219. Its 20% off all other lego. Must be my eye sight but I can't see it anywhere.

The Obi Wan's Star Fighter would be the biggest flop in terms of UCS, lego had a run out for around 110 a while ago. Who ever gets the pet shop with a sale on top will get my money, reckon DJ for xmas.

there was a 2 day sale a couple of weeks ago, but all quite now. Should be something in the next few weeks, I'm waiting to pick up the tower at 20% off so see how I go.

Anyone else notice big w are now taping up their new star wars sets, the box its taped all round with BIG W tape that's hard to get off. Hopefully others don't follow their lead as I' having enough trouble removing the myer magnetic stickers from the box. I'm a bit fussy with my boxes
