Doc Ock and the sinister six are being featured in the next big spiderman event in the comics. For those who don't know the sinister six includes Doc Ock, Mysterio, Electro, Sandman, Chameleon, and rhino (current line up). This is going to be pretty big. Off the top of my head it's called ends of the earth. Also spidey is currently on the following teams in the regular comics: Avengers, New Avengers and Fantastic Four/Future Foundation In the ultimate comics Peter Parker is dead and has been replaced by a kid named Miles Morales. It is also a completely different costume and power set. ie. no webs I would almost put money down that ultimate Fury (jackson) will be in the Spidey set based on regular universe spidey. . But I would love a Sinister Six set. Drools for a Mysterio and or Electro!

I am mainly a lurker but felt I had to post. I am both a Lego fan and a comic book subscriber. My opinion is that Green Lantern should be the primary character Lego should focus on. Lego is a brand that encourages creativity and expression. Green Lanterns power is that he can create anything with pure will power. I think the best set for GL would be a set comprised entirely of trans green bricks similar to a creative set with instructions for 3-5 different constructs. If you need a good vs bad scenario add Sinestro and trans yellow bricks. This could be a fantastic set that can be advertised from both a super hero and educational perspective. You could have pieces to make a jet, giant hand, scissors, car anything your imagination can construct. What does the world think?

Im sorry i was not 100% accurite i was tryiing to prove a point. other wise I would have copied and pasted slabs of text from a wiki. The point of my post was that whilst batman has had a massive amount of spotlight other characters have also (referring to the original posters comment). I don't agree that batman is just the biggest draw card in super heroes. I am a comic book reader, and have followed both DC and Marvel for the good part of 15 years. Batman has had plenty of publicity and media produced. But so have many other characters. Hulk, Spiderman, Superman, xMen, Fantastic Four...these are all household names now. Super Hero Squad is a great example along with Justice League exposing kids and adults to many A, B, C and even D list characters. Also the biggest comic book advertising campaign in history just happened with the DCnU reboot. I apollogise in advance if my grammar sucks posting from an iPhone is a frustrating. :) Point

Does anyone here actually read the comics? DC just did the most expensive and biggest advertising campaign for their new 52. For those who don't know they have rebooted every single one of their books back to #1. I'm usually a marvel guy but dc have really done something special here. Here are some updates on the characters... Superman has gone back to his roots as a brash, idealistic, gun ho super hero as he was in the 30's Wonder Woman is a badass Amazon going up against the Greek gods. Zues is her dad. She has fought centaurs and cuts them into ribbons. Batman is batman. There is still nightwing (dick), robin (Damien), red robin (Tim), batgirl (babs)... Aquaman is awesome. Everyone should read that book! Just awesome. Flash same There are four GL's Hal, Kyle, John, and Guy Cyborg is part of the Justice Legue Oh and superman has lost the red underpants too!

In the comics Harley has worked with Eddie quite a bit with Ivy and Catwoman. The series is Gotham City Sirens, I recomend it to anyone and everyone!

Especially with the dollar the way it is (AUD>USD), us Austrlians get ripped the most... Each minifig is $4.99 AUD usually, sometimes there is a 20% sale and thats the best you get... I'm in freight forwarding, I know that I could fill a 40' container of Lego and get it here for under $5000 AUD They are making a killing...
