Wow, I finally get enough time to post, and I’m 15 minutes away from getting penalty votes! Sorry everyone, I’m not paying nearly as much attention to this game as I should be. Not that it matters at this point, but I’m also going to Vote: Oroku Kirai (kotz) because her vote on Barbossa seems to be a revenge vote. “I’m going to vote you because you seem to have it out for me” is really shoddy reasoning. This seems like bandwagoning, but ah well. What else am I supposed to do when there’s 15 minutes left.

Sorry I haven’t posted yet, I’ve seen the thread but haven’t had the time to respond until now. I guess I have been on all four most popular votes, but I feel like the only one you could really argue was me jumping on a bandwagon was mid day two. Day one I was the first one to vote Ellie so there was no bandwagon for me to have voted on. Day two Finn said he was scum, so it was near unanimous. Day three was another unanimous vote, so you can’t blame me for bandwagoning there. I was surprised that my mostly throwaway vote turned into a bandwagon, is it wrong to be surprised by that? As for the second odd moment, I correctly assumed that the only way a town block could be started this early was if an investigator was involved, and I didn’t want to lynch someone who was either the investigator or cleared, so I unvoted immediately. I didn’t switch votes to Finn until he claimed scum because as I said in the thread, I thought his erratic behavior could just be his inexperience showing.

Kintobor's Cosplay Mafia Day One: Super Mafia Bros

Holy hell that bandwagon on Ellie formed fast. I was the first one to vote for her. I know I said it was a joke vote, but I did have my suspicions. I figured that she was a little too eager to vote for Hera. I didn’t think that it was worth an accusation, but I did think that it would be useful to see her reaction. I think that she’s handled herself well under the pressure of the votes, and right now I’m the most suspicious of the people who quickly jumped on the vote in the typical bandwagon spots. -

I’m going to use my random day one throwaway vote on Ellie Sattler, because I’ve never met a trustworthy paleobotanist. Vote: Ellie Sattler (legomonorailfan) -
Kintobor's Cosplay Mafia Day One: Super Mafia Bros

“Woah, this is crazy! If I really were Doc Brown, I’d just travel to the future, find out who the scum are, then come back. But sadly, I’m just a cosplayer, a faker, a poser of the amazing man who is Doc Brown. He’s my hero! If we’re running low on useful discussion, I could always read my 500 page Back to the Future fanfic starring Doc Brown! Did I mention he’s my hero?” -
Kintobor's Cosplay Mafia: Sign Ups

1. Have you played Mafia before? If yes, what kind of experience do you have with Mafia? Yes, I have 3 or 4 games experience. 2. Will you be able to participate for the next four to six weeks? Yes. 3. You're heading off to the local convention! Which character from pop culture do you dress up as? Luigi, because the underrated Mario Brother deserves more attention. -
Heckz having himself is genius.

I’m glad that someone mentioned power creep, because IMO that is the main problem with this game. This is the strongest weapon dropped in Quest 2, a quest where everyone sans one player was a level one: Chain Whip (WP: 4) This is the strongest weapon dropped in Quest 154, the latest quest where all players sans one were level one: Blackstone mace of muck (WP:20, earth- and darkness-elemental mace, user is confused for 1 round of the battle) That’s a 16 WP and 2 element difference. If there is a sequel to this game, there should be some limitations to prevent power creep.

I gotta say, watching how strong you guys are making your characters is really crazy. I can’t wait to see some of these builds in action!

Imperial Officers Mafia - Day Four

Since the Town seems to want to lynch Thrawn and kill Needa, I will go along with that, hoping we can kill the last scum. Vote: Grand Admiral Thrawn (mediumsnowman) -
Imperial Officers Mafia - Day Four

Maybe Ozzel wasn’t lying when he said that he could only kill every other night? Maybe night 1 the Scum killed Isard, night 2 they couldn’t kill, and night 3 they were blocked. -
Imperial Officers Mafia - Day Four

Wow, this changes things a bit. There is absolutely no way that Dellus would know that Greer is neutral unless he is actually the investigator. That means that he definitely did get a town result on Thrawn, but Thrawn might be the Godfather. If we lynch one and kill the other like a lot of people are saying, then we will get at least one scum, unless there are 2 blockers, but I doubt that. Dellus, who else did you investigate? There have been 3 nights so far, but you only listed the results of 2. Having another confirmed alignment would be great today. -
Imperial Officers Mafia - Day Four

I’m leaning towards Needa being town and Thrawn being scum. Thrawn’s claim that the scum blocked him because he was a PR does not hold up, because Piett stated above that he indirectly told Needa to block Thrawn.
