    Oh, I see it now and I remember the dish on shield combo now too, thanks. Good luck with this on ideas! I like the cyclops body with orc head. Have you considered any chima torso assemblies with olive hands?

    Love the shiny shield that Gobguz has, but I could not find the part on BL. Is it a 2x2 dish in chrome silver?

    Do you have 1/2 orc 1/2 humans? Also is that a shiny shield on the knight?

    My orcs have short legs too. Long legs = half-orc (like Uruk) Orcs are to dwarves as goblins are to halflings.

    It was in the Third Age 2864, when Folca, thirteenth king of Rohan, a great hunter, after having rid his kingdom of the last remaining orcs that had fled the Battle of Azanulbizar, many years even before his own birth, had traveled to the Firien Wood, a small copse of oakwood at the foot of the White Mountains, the Ered Nimrais, the border between the two kingdoms, somewhere near Halifirien, the last of the beacon watchtowers of Gondor. There did he battle the Boar of Everholt, a fearsome beast, truly magnificent and worthy, having itself gained fame for its own voracity and fierceness in battle. And it was in that year, that King Folca did slay the great beast, yet alas, was slain himself from grievous wounds suffered from the tusks of the boar. And so, ends the story of Folca and the Boar of Everholt, but the Legend lives on in the hearts and minds of those who carry the torch.

    I love it, thanks for continuing the thread. Dark Elf society in some ethos is matriarchal so nice to see a Dark Elf King. My dream is to get Amidala and mod her to be a Dark elf priestess/queen. But she's so expensive. Wait til next year maybe.

    I don't dare cut such an expensive part either, so I just cut a white saddle (removing the 1x2 with the dremel cutter and sanding it smooth) Then I used two 1x2 gray tiles, one floating under the saddle rear atop the Hippogriff's back and one on the front most two studs just behind its neck. This allows the saddle to "sit flat." Although it is raised it looks ok. Finally, I stacked two 1x2 plates inside the saddle on the other two studs to simulate the legs of the mini-fig torso atop. I didn't paint the hinges either, doesn't show. I did eyes yellow first then just a dot inside for black. Thanks for the tips. I'm gonna figure out how to post pix someday. Then I'll really be dangerous. BTW love the Dark Elves. By far, my favorite fantasy race and some of your best pix. All for now.

    They are from set #76029 Iron Man vs Ultron Helmet is BL pn 19303 from Ultron Sentry Officer BL sh165. Great part use from Marvel Super Heroes!

    One 1/2 done (drying) having been painted as per your pix. One "Buckbeak" on order from BL. Wings on the way from TLG, shop at home parts dept. Planning on five total, designated a "wing" in our game club. Need executive approval for further expenditures. My orders this month are my birthday presents. Thanks for the AB tip. Hippogriff in brown would be cool. Couldn't find part number in set #75826, too new on PL on BL, LEGO, or Brickset. I'm using flat silver ID [20312] right wing pn 6114674 & [20313] left wing pn 6114675 $.67 US at TLG. Hope they look as good IRL as yours.
