Yes, I'd prefer this too. -
Yes, they were commissioned by Sony and TLG to make Spider-Man: The Peril of Doc Ock and Star Wars: The Han Solo Affair for TLG. Yes, but that means that it's not "full production" , it's a prototype.

He's always been quite honest with his interests and is active on a few forums.

"This is a full production, full quality LEGO Castle piece" How is that possible? If it was in production then it can't be a "genuine LEGO part which no one else will have". In any case $1,200.00...

Computer Game - Napoleon: Total War
Siegfried replied to Sir Wellington's topic in Culture & Multimedia
We can't have every period game in Pirates; there's way too many. This is supposed to be for LEGO afterall. I'm going to move this to Culture & Multimedia for now and discuss this with the staff. -

OK, I'll stop blaming the programmers. Indeed. Beer?

Since when have we done that? I did say... ...but that was only to avoid the need for a multi-staged poll, which I don't have the time for. With under 40 entries there's no need. In short, unless we get another 20 entries in the next day or so this will be decided by a poll. If we end up with more than 40 entires an impartial judge will remove a few that I don't think have a good chance of winning. Yeah, I've been much the same, so don't worry about it. I'll try to run another quick contest later this year.

I love it! I've never seen a side shift backhoe done before in LEGO, in fact I didn't even know that powered sideshift existed at all! (Older models used to do a sideshift by anchoring the bucket and pushing the backhoe until it was in position. As they say on their site; "Hydraulic Powerslide moves excavator position with no damage to the worksite." Long time no worksite for me! ) Pulling this off when the real ones used to avoid it as well is most impressive! It's good now; thanks!

I'm a programmer too. I've been programming in assembly language (among other things) professionally for 10+ years . I understand it's a difficult task, but it's not impossible to do, and it wouldn't be hard to do it better than they have done. For example pick "bad" words then generate list of common words that contain those words. When someone selects a name look for those words in descending size order and remove them from the name. Then look for the "bad" words. This could be done in a matter of seconds, if that. Afterall, anagram tools can generate lists of 30,000 plus is a few seconds so this would be easy. But I think at the core we actually agree; this is a silly idea in the first place. As I said; it's horribly managed. They have moderators (they must check all those reviews) so it'd be more appropriate to handle such issues there.

Cool! Great article.... and stunning collection! Thanks for sharing.

I love the other examples. Honestly, the LEGO site is horridly written and managed.

Very glad to be of service! (It's good that it did too as I was out of ideas! ) -
Well that's just silly. So how did you discover this? Yeah. This is just lazy programming. Boo LEGO. Boo!

There's no reason for this. I've disabled your PM system and then re-enabled it; hopefully that will reset it. Please try again. -

How many PMs have you sent recently and over what period? The board has a feature that limits PMs for anti-spammer reasons. What's the limit? Not sure; the board setting just mentions the time period between PMs, and that's set to 1 minute. Thus, you might be able to send one now. -
Yeah. At the moment the MOC I'm working on has me saying "I want an inverse cheese slope!". I'm off to Bricklink!

Yes, my Emerald Night was a pre-order and it has the old piece. (I just checked. ) Overall I prefer the tubes being there.
