  1. I haven't got mine either... cranky note time!
  2. Can staff enter? But the colours are wrong...
  3. Please note that I have removed the "Possible New Licensed Themes" topic. I strongly doubt that TLG want this to be released. It's important to note that releasing information like this can reduce the chance of it actually happening. In most cases these polls are used to help TLG decided to approve or request licenses and/or future lines... and by posting it here you have allowed others to know that TLG is at least considering some of them. As a result a license may be upped in price by the holder and thus be too expensive, or a competitor may beat them to the punch. On the other hand, TLG may release this data expecting it to be released and thus give false intelligence... I do doubt this though so I'd prefer that we keep Inner Circle data secret.
  4. Sorry, I don't understand the purpose of this topic. Please explain.
  5. There are too many grey areas. Some themes (like Aquasharks) are space-in-water, some (like Alpha Team) are part of another theme, some are town extensions (Divers), and others (like Aqua Raiders and Atlantis) border on fantasy. IMHO merging them together would create as many problems as it would solve.
  6. Errr yeah. Not LEGO. Moving...
  7. After a forced break much missed Ralph_S is back with another beautiful creation! Find the modeling marvel here! EDIT: It turns out there's even more to this MOC; as part of a contest Ricecracker built it in a smaller scale! Find the micro marvel here!
  8. Mobile Crane 8053 AUD $179.99 Motorized Excavator 8043 AUD $349.99 It's local or nothing for me at those prices. I got the Crane Truck for $200 rather than $299.99; hopefully I can get the excavator for $250. (The punctuation for the crane is rather funny; "Crane and cockpit spin 360?" )
  9. Indeed. I've been keeping my eye out for a suitable candidate for some time... DLuders for the win!
  10. My guess is that they had complaints over the bulldozer; with it's lower motors it would be more subject to sand damage. But yeah, aside from increasing gear wear and general dirtiness if you were careful it shouldn't be that big a deal with the excavator.
  11. I downloaded the instructions to the Excavator today and I love this picture;
  12. When viewing the photo select the "Actions" menu and then pick "View All Sizes". You can then pick a size and/or just right click (depending on OS/browser) and save the image. Easy! (I'm moving this to community...)
  13. I own the Arealight version and I (without currently owning the TLG version) pick the TLG one. It's a close decision though. The sleeker head-gear and the backprinting wins the day for me. I'm not sure what face I like better; I do prefer her looking grumpy though.
  14. Are you ready?!! Aayla wants to know who is the better Aayla, and the challenge has been accepted! Cast your vote and help KielDaMan pick a winner! The action never stops in the LEGO Star Wars forum!
  15. I'll probably do it soonish. (I can't see him doing an iPhone version; you need a Mac to write for that platform. Hardly a casual purchase.)
  16. All aboard for a new train review; this time it's the 7938 Passenger Train thanks to pinioncorp. Hurry! The LEGO express is leaving!. Find more train topics in LEGO Train Tech!
  17. Works the same for me. In any case, this is in the wrong forum... and probably even the wrong site!
  18. ...please don't advertise other sites without permission. It's rather rude. I'll move this to community.
  19. Yes, it was. I'll look around. New sigs should be limited. Existing ones are not checked though. Any big ones that are left in a few months will probably be manually fixed.
  20. I can help you there.
  21. Well if I came across as rude I apologize.
  22. Yeah, I know. I never said they were the same thing. I was trying to help you, I was in a hurry, and said DNS when if I thought for more than a second I would have said something else. In any case, I used to be in the RAN working on RADARs. Not relevant I know, but I'm just making a point, and the point is I'm stuggling to see what you're trying to achieve in this dicussion. You say at one point it's us... ...then you say it's not... ...then you say it is... ...and then you make this big post saying how good you are. Was that your goal? In any case I won't be jumping in to try to help you in future. As a CCNP you should be able to work things out for yourself.
  23. I'm surprised to see this topic bumped, but at least you two guys have good taste; I have a HTC Desire too! Even so; Dreamweb, please don't quote things from three years ago...
  24. ...which is much what I said. You said it was "likely a problem with the forum hosting provider" and I said it was not, and made a guess that it was a DNS error. In any case it was a problem with your connection, not ours.
  25. No, that's not how it works. This would be a DNS error; not in any way related to us. Hotspot Shield makes you talk to EB via the US and thus you use different DNS servers. I wouldn't worry; in most cases DNS errors are fixed in a few days.
