I always saw purist to mean someone like me; any official Lego is good to use providing you don't use them in ways that will damage them. Is there an "official" definition?

I suppose. To me it looks like someone sat on a ship from a Buck Rogers comic. 5. It was a joke. If he did something as good as that I would be happy. As Chucks work goes, aside from being needlessly small, it is an interesting design and doesn't seem to use any methods that offend me. :-P Tried and failed. They mumbled something about 30 days.

Well, I think that SirNadroj has received enough complements from me to know that, mosaics aside, I really like his work. I doubt that he will be that offended.... or at least I hope! :-$ Too true! Lately he has been half breaking exoforce sets and adding a part or two hoping to impress me. :-| Dream on!

Well I don't see the fact that he was heavily inspired by someone else as relevant, so I voted for his anyway. :-P Perhaps the original designer should recieve half the prize, but I voted for what design I liked best. I am surprised that anyone would vote for SirNadroj though as, to be honest, for such a talented builder (with more bricks than me :-| ) it is far from his best work. In fact, if my son made that I'd ask him to try again. 8-| But I am very interested who will win this one as it is still anyones game. My second would be Sir Dillon's, and third would go to Chuck.

I think that if it was made by Lego, then you have a good argument. This includes odd things like Znap. I would rule out the wooden toys, as well as the old (metal?) cars. :-P

Well, it might make you feel better to know that I was very happy with my MTT.

Darn. I was hoping you knew something that I didn't. The set that I am still waiting to turn up is 7699 MT-101 Armored Drilling Unit. I'm want to avoid the postage too but I'm running out of time. If it doesn't turn up this month I may have to S@H it... :-|

By my usage, and the common Australian meaning, it is someone who deludes himself, and is generally not seen as another word for masturbate (which was its original meaning), unless you say something like "I had a wank last night". Supposedly it is still offensive in some parts of the world, but it is so inoffensive in Australia that a solicitor (lawyer) called a judge one once and he got a way with it. Well Brickfactory are probably the best for old instructions, but to be honest I don't care that much as I have about 95% of the old ones already. :-P

Sad to say I agree. While they are a good resource, Brickfactory have only the older sets. If you want a new set Brickley's is the only place to go.
