Model Team: Police HQ
Siegfried replied to Lasse D's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Lasse D makes the coolest things with his own style. Beautiful! *wub* -
Welcome to Eurobricks. *sweet* I recall we used to have a member called tyger2393. 8-| I really miss him. :'-(

Welcome to Eurobricks!

Stunningly I am doing the same thing to Sinnerton! *wacko* I have even dismantled the police station. (Security is now in the hands of Bane and Batman.) I have less room than you so I have decided to build up! I can't wait to see your new town. *sweet*

I didn't even know it was possible to use Stickfas parts with Lego minifigs! 8-

Star Wars: Kit Fisto *wub* Castle: Princess *wub* *wub* Other: Bane (Too tough for a *wub* ) Mixed: Sea captain It was a good year for minifigs all things considered. Honestly, if you are going to say something like that in jest you should say so or add smilies, otherwise it could be thought that you are seriously getting angry with an admin. It was a good idea of yours, but you really should have put more thought in it. I am partially to blame however for posting your idea when I thought your poll needed work. Next time you have an idea maybe we can discuss it more first. *sweet*

New TECHNIC sets for 2008
Siegfried replied to Conchas's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
8294: This set looks great just the same and it includes the newer tracks. *wub* As I suspected, pneumatics is looking deader and deader by the second. I think the linear actuators are a good idea, but as others have said I hope that universal joint is stronger than the existing ones. 8295: Very nice and it looks realistic as well. 8297: This is not what I expected at all. I think the motor just drives the winch, and the pole reverser is used to switch the power from the winch to the light. (Maybe we should have a bet on this! X-D ) I want this for the suspension alone... Thanks Colonel Sanders! *sweet* I wonder if the poster makes it to production. The bulldozer promised a "Cool PC Game" on early box shots... ...but it didn't come with mine. :-/ -
IJ 7622 Race for the Stolen Treasure: Missing Pieces
Siegfried replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Licensed
I have never recieved one, and I have dealt with them three times over missed/broken/wrong pieces. That's why I ended up with two motors; I got impatient and nagged them some more... :-$ -
Just promise to feed him well. He prefers fresh raw meat, but roadkill will do just fine. *sweet*

Welcome to Eurobricks! Don't stress. It's just the holiday blues. Just be polite and follow the example of the regulars and you should be OK. *sweet*

No no no no! 8-

You aren't planning something like the unbelievable quad turrets in the Millenium Falcon are you? 8-|

Happy birthday Aredhel! *sweet* Shame that you have to work though. :-/ Great comic Exobuilder with a surprising end. :-D (I like the dancing!) So who poisoned the pizza? I blame the bunny.., 8-|
-
Indeed he does... :-$ That's pretty odd though as that was in his "military" folder and other Humvee was in "space". Thanks! His Osprey is pretty good too! *wub*

Congratulations MicVash. *sweet* I look forward to seeing his new avatar. Try to not be too mean.... oh, what the heck, be mean! Be mean! >:-) Both entries were good though; PSPguy's was much better than I thought it would be...

Welcome to Eurobricks! <pointless warrie> I was stuck in Singapore for a few weeks as the ship I was on had a leak in a boiler feeder tank and we feared the ship would explode... I was very impressed by the transport system of Singapore. *sweet* Even so, I did spend most of the time on base as the local bar, the Terror Club, had a free pool and cheap spirits. :-$ Probably the second best place that I was ever stuck in. (Hong Kong was better sorry.) </pointless warrie>

Sad to say, the available pictures are not enough. I spent a while looking at it and I am still unsure how it all works. It needs a level photo of the side for one.

Very cool Humvee with some interesting techniques. *wub* It's a shame this guy hasn't been back since. Was it something someone said? :'-( He has some cool things in his Brickshelf folder... like this. *sweet*

:-D Actually I checked Wiki just prior to making that post; it's perfect for pop culture. (Not as good for science though....) I wanted to know if I had forgot it, or if I had never heard of it. The latter it turns out. X-D Thanks just the same. *sweet*

Hello and welcome to Eurobricks! *sweet* As for your display name, there is no way for you to change it yourself on Eurobricks. As Exobuilder said, just ask an admin (probably either Starwars4J or Vader) via a PM and they should be glad to help. Do keep in mind though that staff prefer that people don't change their names too much. You reason is pretty good though. :-)

Welcome to Eurobricks. *sweet* (I've never even heard of Alex Rider... :-$ )

As tempting as it was to pick "Display them with treehouses and walruses in a playful Hinkly fashion." in reality I am more of a player than a displayer. Thus I picked "Swoosh the parts around playing "ventriloquist" with the minifigs." To assist this, when possible I take my latest set wherever I go until I get another! :-D I have spots reserved in every room where I leave them. The obvious exclusions are the bigger sets. I used to do that as well, but after dropping half of Vladeks Dark Fortress down the stairs I tempered my sillieness a tad. :-$ My current drag-around-the house set in the Indy Race for the Stolen Treasure one. I have replaced the box with the ark though, and Marion is in the back as well. *wub*

Happy Birthday Lord_Sylp! *sweet* (If Neil turns up I'll eat my cat...)
