Well, first off, remember that this is just an opinion and feel free to ignore my advice but...
A: Side armour Notice the over hang where the side armour is longer than needed?
B: The hump To me it's a more obvious feature than your model reflects.
To me these are two important features that the old model got right...
...but the new one got wrong.
I often pick pieces off sets when needed (and sometimes put them back) but I mostly break down sets when I start running out of room! Some sets I break very fast though if I buy them for parts only. Very few of my sets I plan to never break.
I too have been considering breaking all and building big.
Wow! It's huge! ...and it goes 63 KM/H too!
Any reason why you didn't make the side armour overhang at the front? I think the hump is too small too. But it's stunning, I look forward to seeing more interior.
This is stunning work. It's clear at first glance what you are going for, but the closer you look the more freaky it is! I love all the little details in the corridor, and I'm surprised you made decals for the stormtroopers and the rebels; I think it's convincing even without them.
Very cool.
Darn. That's some extreame bad luck.
Yay! I've had three bikes stolen off me and I never saw any again. Perhaps I should start riding LEGO bikes instead! Is your new fig any diferent to the old? He's a great custom.
I'd go with 7733 too; the pieces are far more useful. (I have both sets.)
It was me. We're just trying to keep them all in one place; just like the "What I bought today" topic.
Very! I think these sets were sold more as education products. Even so, there is a big difference between multiple skin colours in duplo and normal LEGO; you can't customise Duplo figures anyway so the lack of colour compatability doesn't matter!
I've been waiting for you to post these; I looked them over a few days ago and even made a comment on one. As for re-posting them here, as much as I would like you to, considering the popularity of Technic on EB it probably isn't worth your time Mr Ambassador.
I look forward to the upcoming reviews... especially the one for 8297.
