I'm confused as to why this was in "LEGO Licensed"...

We try to keep LEGO Licensed for just the actual licenses, not potential ones.

Well this is an AFOL site afterall... Even so, it does seem interesting. From the FAQ it seems to be a focus group targeting kids. I doubt that there will be any stunning news revealed via this as you can't force kids to sign a NDA!

News flash guys; the cockpit isn't airtight, there are holes in the engines and wings and it doesn't really fly. But maybe, just maybe, we're taking this a little too seriously. Reviews of this set have been out for months and if you didn't check one prior to purchase then I say "tough titties". In every set Lego makes there are compromises to achieve a function, size, stability/strength, ease of build and/or price point. I doubt that TLG see this as a flaw. They wanted to achieve the wing function, and I suspect that the vertical fin would fall down too much if the V-19 sat flat. (I haven't tested it though.) I still think this is the most swooshable Lego ship for a while.

This has been discussed many times before and we always come to the same conclusion; Eurobricks is a site about Lego. It's a quite broad topic as it is; many sites are just one theme afterall, and we do allow off topic-ness to a degree already. While your ideas are good, they still would involve more work for the staff, time that would be better spent working on the Lego aspects of Eurobricks. But feel free to discuss this, but please, no polls.
