In fact it is not too difficult (with a little help:-) ) This video shows the modifications and was a lot of help. The key is to move the container motor so you have enough space for the drive motor. I changed it a bit because i did not have all the parts (the only other parts i had are from the excavator)but now it works reasanably well, very nice modell

I am quite new with Lego Technic and just recently build the 8052 Container Truck. I`d like to modify it so i can drive and stear it using PF. Has anyone done this on this Truck or a similar one? Do you think it is possible? Will the small motors from the excavator be enough to drive it or will i need larger ones (where can i get larger ones?) Thanks a lot!
