    Wow!! This set is one of the best to have released in the last few year, at least imo. I love everything it has going for it; the construction that connects the Upside Down and regular house together, the amazingly detailed minifigs, all the exclusive prints and stickers, the highly detailed builds, the fact that it is Stranger Things and everything else it has going for it. While I feel they're were some odd choices involving the placement of the windows and the hole in the wall - as the windows are covered up by the wall with lights in it and in the set the hole appears in Will's room, not in the living room like the show, but it's still excellently designed! This is truely one of the most unique and fantastically produced sets we've had in a while. If you're referring to the fact that the wheels aren't touching the ground, I think that's because there is a stand/connection point that holds the car to the base, so that can flip upside down.

    You could have the very iconic scene in LEGO, when our protagonist realises he’s been on Earth the whole time seeing the statue of liberty - but I guess we kinda already got that with TLM2 sets.

    There was a somewhat similar feature used in this years TLM2 Party Bus, which you can see in Jangsbrick's review at 4:40. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0I6SgQSMMQ However the one in this set looks to have either a sticker or piece in front of the light brick to create that effect, or is it a completely new light brick? Is it a 2x4 light brick, have we ever gotten one of those before?

    Personally I’m hoping for some smaller more affordable sets. I’d love to see Hawkins Lab Van, the Arcade, Mirkwood and Mikes Basement. The School, The Lab and Starcourt Mall would also all make great D2C’s! I wonder if they’ll continue with the theme of the upside down build and the normal build - if so the likes of Hawkins Lab will be huge.

    As soon as posted my last response I noticed the light element you were talking about either there’s some sort of mesh piece or it’s even a new light brick element, (could it be that one used it LM2?). Joyce definitely has her axe there, but it doesn’t look very accurate to the show. The poster is definitely Jaws, but in that same image there appears to be another poster beside it, maybe. And you’re definitely right about the camcorder and Wizards hat as being references to season 2 and 3 but that roof area still looks odd to me - I think it should have been more closed off as it looks really weird being open like that - it’s not very accurate. I wonder if Hoppers car will be able to fit more than 1 figure inside, two would be great! It would be cool if the back/ trunk also included some other references like the box of bear traps the teens buy.

    I can’t really make out the mesh piece you’re talking about but that would definitely be an awesome addition to the set. I’m pretty sure Will’s room has either The Thing or the Jaws poster hanging on the left side of his bedroom wall. Also in Will’s room there is definitely a stero/ radio piece and to the left of that possibly even a baseball bat?! It also looks like there’s a Camcorder above Will’s room - don’t know what that’s about. Something else I’ve noticed is that the Upside down version also contains the lights and painted letters, which while it may look good being symmetrical is not accurate to the show and doesn’t make sense. As in the show we do not see the lights in the Buyers house in the upside down. Also I think regular Buyers house should have many more strings of lights to really replicate the feel of the first season. Really? The image I’m looking at isn’t the best but I think that piece is a pretty great fit for Lucas, sure it doesn’t have the texture for the hair but otherwise its quite accurate.

    Does the non Upside Down Buyers House have a black roof? If so, I’m a tad disappointed. A grey blue or even dark grey would have been much more accurate to show.

    Wow, now I'm really excited for this set! Looks like my designs for my Ideas set weren't too far off either so that's pretty cool! I mean it's your choice, and I can't wait to see the images just as much as the next person - but releasing the images could get you in to serious trouble, couldn't it? I'm sure you know the risks, but the info you've already graced us with is definitely enough to hold us over for the next few weeks.

    If LEGO gives us Eleven in her season 1 attire, do you think that they'll use a a cloth piece or even the ballerina skirt to represent her dress?

    In that POTC set, apart from the printed torso and legs both the book and the bottle piece both use prints, are they not exclusive? It also contained several new fabric pieces. On a separate note I wonder if LEGO will have to see ID before let customers purchase the set

    I think this is LEGO’s way of testing the adult audience, if this set does well I imagine we’ll get a slew of knew adult themes. But I wonder with the number of iconic characters, vehicles and locations left out that LEGO might even do a follow up wave.

    OH MY BRICKS!! Dustin looks absolutely perfect (totally called the new hair/hat combo). The Demogorgan looks great as well, kinda wish that he had used a body piece similar to that of General Grievous, as it is much taller than any other human on the show, but Beggars can't be choosers. I honestly cannot wait to see the final set! Edit: So apparently the set will only have 8 minifigures [ So possibly Dustin, Demogorgan, Will, Mike, Lucas, El, Joyce and Hopper? ]

    In the image of the advent calendar containing only LEGO pieces it looks to display 9 seperate table builds! Surely the actual set would not use most of its pieces on identical table builds.

    The advent calendar intrigues me, but I can't believe that it will cost somewhere around the AUD $70 mark!

    I agree, there’s a number of ways LEGO could get really creative when incorporating the upside down into the build. So it would seem that this set has an almost identical number of pieces and is priced the same as 2017’s Silent Mary https://shop.lego.com/en-AU/product/Silent-Mary-71042 . If that gives us any indication of what expect we could be looking at 8 new figures, 2 new pieces, a few new prints, multiple fabric pieces if necessary and some recolours.
