I used your Decals moths ago and they really look great. if you don't look very closly you can't tell them from the originals, wich makes my hogwarts look awesome! thank you so very much!

Well Hp is a very well selling series. I think a problem might be that they only have contracts for toys to the movies. and with the movie line ending they might loose the contracts to produce new sets (I'm just guessing here). Because if i recall correctly the first wave of Hp Sets came out with the first movie. I still hope that they produce more sets, because i love this theme. I'd simply like to have more simple things of hogwarts like toilets and classrooms. :D

Before i get beaten up with a legobaseballbat, i know this is about the harry Potter 2011 Lego Products, i just wanted to share this for all of those who haven't seen it yet, and are as excited about the final Harry Potter Movie as I am. This is of course not the right place for discussions about it, i just wanted to put this here.

The sets are nice, but nothing spectecular. Consering the seven potters scene, I collected nearly every set of the harry potter theme they produced yet. I would wish for a few less harrys because my harry army could totally win the clone wars against the Republic and the CIS at once!

it would be awesome and i would buy all of it but i don't see lego doing them at all. I think the three coming sets will be the end of the Harry Potter theme for the Movies and Books are over. Although i'm sorry about that because i would love it to go on.

mh yep you got a point there. the inside is more or less described in the book especially the department of mistery (not sure if it is called like this in english, i mean the place where sirius dies) the Aurors office and the Atrium. that would totally be enough for a set even if you don't have any room where the lifts go. But you are totally right about the outside i totally forgot about that...

they created a Hogwarts set and Hogwarts is bigger and much more complicated with all the secret passages, trickstairs, portraits and so on and i'm pretty happy with the way lego "minimalized" it to fit as a lego set. so if they can make this giant complicated castle as a set, they can create the ministry as well...

now that we're on the subject i wanted to ask if anyone has any ideas to create a Moaning Myrtle minifigure.. Your project sounds pretty neat so far, i'd love to see some pictures. I think helping you might be easier if you give us some more detail on how much space there is and how high the stories are.

I bought it a Week ago and i'm totally happy. Its just awesome, it was worth the 150€ I payed. I love Fred and George, all the details, the stickers and so on. I yer a harry potter fan, buy it.

Still no news on the Minifigure? I'm very exited what it might be. When i recall correctly we did learn about the Starwars book figure a lot longer before the release, because the book is supposed to be released in 3 month and we don't know anything about the figure..

dude O.o what the heck did you do to the poor Qui-gons?! i got like a bucket of Qui-gon minifigures back when I was a kid and Episode I was fresh to the Cinemas, and i played with them a lot and i never broke one O.o

You mean Halfblood prince not Otp and yeah i forgot about the importance of the movies for the merchandise you're right about that. But JK rowling stated that she made a mistake in giving Flint one more year in hogwarts than the other students so as i recall it it was the third year. She later explained that it was because he is such a bad stutend ;) I Think they will remake things to every movie in 2012 so possible the COS as well, but i don't think they created last years wave in focus on the second movie. P.s. When Hagrid is shrinked and leading the revolution of the houseelfs my head will explode.

I already liked Mr Nuntius during the Contest and i really think you should go on writing it and maybe put in some pictures. Its a very creative idea to pick this kind of character out of a perspective after his dead and i really like the idea. please go on ^^

well I would not see that as evidence. They didn't pick those sets because of the COS but because they are returning places (exept for dobby, but i think they just wanted to include a new dobby figure). The Burrow appears in the second, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh book, and if i recall it correctly harrys longest stay there is during the seventh book. You are right about Filch who never played such a big role as in COS but than again i think they just wanted to include hogwarts staff they didn't include before. Sprout makes an appeareance in every book as well and i would say her appereance in Deathly hollows is more important than in Cos. Dumbledore kept Riddles Diary in his hoffice and it was an important hint for him so search the Horkruxes in the sixths book. the Basilisk fangs are important in Deathly hollows as well. The Ford Anglia sure is a COS reference but the whole set isn't for there is Luna and Malfoy wich refere to other Train scenes as well. Aragog makes a second appereance even in the sixth movie (wich sucked by the way). And i don't think the quidditch set is from COS, for harry plays quidditch in his first, second, thrid, fifth(at least one game) and sixth year. Malfoy the same exept for the first and sixth year. Flint and wood stayed for three years as well and madam Hooch is a Teacher making brief appereance now and than but with her biggest one clearly in part one. So to sum it up i just think they wanted to create sets with refrence ans many movies/books as possible and yeah, the picture of hagrid is funny :)

Me not :/ i missed out on The Chamber of Secrets and The Hogwarts part with Umbridge for wich i am VERY sorry -.- And i didn't got any of the trains because i don't really like trains that much. But despite those sets i own every Harry potter set made as well :)

normally they do like the marketplace and the Ship but I wouldn't bet on it for its from a licenced line. And for what I know more selled than the usual Exclusives, thats why my Diagon ally will arrive on Saturday :)

i like your Castle idea but i don't think the mirror in the Battle of Hogwarts set represents Nehegeb(not sure about the english spelling of the mirror and to lazy to look it up, ya know what I mean). The Mirror has absolutly nothing to do with The Battle and is one of the few things that remain in one book - the first one. While every other piece of this set can be explained with the battle scene, i doubt that this is a reffrence to the first book/film. The Mirror could represent the Room of Requirement where all the stuff is hidden, or a Mirror/cubboard could replace the portrait they entered the school with (from the hogshead) in the movie, because i think that would look kind of weird on the big screen.

Well Michal Caine called her Catwoman instead of Selina Kyle, but he hasn't got the script yet :P... But I think there will be one more next to Bane. Twoface Appereal in Dark Knight was reveald just a couple of month before the movie was released, although i don't know who it is, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are in talks for roles in Dark Knight rises. Of course they don't have to play villians, but I am pretty sure there will be at least one minor villan.

oh boy i totally forgot about the whole Stan beeing a death eater "running gag". Damn. Now i have to buy this set as well, thank you very much luna :P
