Thanks for the advise. Will try to hunt a 8258 for meanwhile. Will share the experience once I get to build it.

I will get 42034 when there is discount in he store from where I live. So 8285 has less complicated gear then 8258? If so, I would actually get 8258 since it's cheaper then 8285.

I been looking around for my next set to get. I have started with 42030 and subsequently follow by 8043. (42030 was the one that brought me back from dark age). Love RC with PF. 8043 complicated gearbox make me enjoy the build. I have 42009, 8421, 9398 and I have 8439 which is still in the way. I enjoy PF RC and pneumatic. Now I am looking into my next set, so which is better in term of the function? 8285 - pneumatic 8258 - PF 8110 - pneumatic This could been asked many times already. Please remove my thread. Hi all, I am just getting started into Lego technic recently. Last technic bought was 42030. I am much into RC technic and it's kind of fun moving them around. My first Lego set is pirates . Can't remember which model it was but recent I manage to get some pirates sets online. Looking forward into this forum as it provide almost all the info I need and also poison/temptation which lure into buying more LEGO.
