Lovely work Doc. You have captured the feel of the XY with the front end and the boot. Altho i note this is not a stock phase III, its just another XY thats been done up to look like one. Afterall the spotties on the original were molded into the grill and all the wanna be's just had them bolted to the outside. :) Now if you could just make a Cherry red XP futura or a XK pursuit you would make my day. Oh and i do expect to see this in Oct. Your Rat rod was nice in June but would have been great for you to be there to demonstrate it. Peter

I can not speak for any store but i purchased a box of S6 from my local Toyworld. I then went home sorted and took back 2 robots and a mechanic so they could sell them to another customer. picked up 3 randoms to replace them. This was done because they had run out of these in the open boxes they had and i had been dealing with them for 20yrs. Altho most stores would look at you as if mad :) -

For those who are intrested. Target at Maroochydore Qld has a dozen Diagon Alley left -
I realise now just how sad i am This thread has made me update my set count. Sitting at 1228 unique sets (1800+ duplicated). I guess that explains why there is LEGO in every room of the house But i don't see anywhere on brickset to add all my catalogs or the posters liberated from toystore walls. Wish i could have gone to the US to see FlyingEugene's collection. Good luck to him.

I guess it all depends on if they have signed up to Australian scanning code of conduct. I cant speak for DJ's but where i work we have to strictly adhere and if not then boy are the fines nice for someone. www.ara.com.au/asi/scanning_code.pdf 3. THE ITEM-FREE AND MULTIPLE PURCHASES POLICIES 3.1 If the scanned price of an item is higher than the shelf price or other displayed price, the customer shall be entitled to that item free. 3.2 Where multiple items bearing identical bar codes are purchased and scan at a price higher than the shelf price or other displayed price, the customer shall be entitled to the first item free and the others at the lower (that is, displayed) price. 3.3 Where a difference between a shelf or displayed price and the item price file is identified, the discrepancy will be remedied immediately by the store. -
Looking good. Altho i would like to make a suggestion. Growing up in the wheat belt of SA the things i remember well are the local Aerial ping pong field, the two story brick pub and the grey above ground water pipe. If its big enough for an IGA and a Mitre10 then surely it should have those. And i have heard that the Ceo of Mitre10 has seen the picture of the Mitre10 and Iga. Seems he forwarded them to Metcash the parent company to both Iga and M10.
