  1. Nothing new yet. Once it gets closer to the release of the summer wave we'll know for sure.
  2. Yeah I'll be disappointed if it is R2. My bets have been on an updated celebration Luke figure, but there's plenty of options from ANH that they could've done and I think most would've been satisfied with as long as it wasn't a rehash or another "First Order Heavy Trooper".
  3. Electro came in a polybag though? As did the exclusive Age of Ultron Hulk and the Rocket Racoon and as far as I know they weren't with any Blu-ray releases, just Toys R Us promotions.
  4. Don't worry, there's still hope that we could get it in a regular polybag.
  5. I honestly think that Hasbro might have some exclusive rights to selling individual Star Wars figures. I thought that this was also the reason why Marvel and Star Wars funko pop figures were bobble heads to work around this. I would think that this would prevent Lego from selling a minifigure series, because I think it would do very well regardless of what figures would come in the series. Lego is able to sell constraction figures as buildable figures but lone minifigs might cut it too close.
  6. I wish they did more with this theme outside of Dimensions. Anyways, excited to see where this goes, especially if you make the train sequence.
  7. Well the rumor has been it includes the Hyperdrive Docking Ring, which would bump up the price significantly. Also, if it comes with young Boba Fett it could potentially have a part of Kamino such as one of the landing pad lights. Or, the Jedi Starfighter could be a codename or some cover for something else entirely. Last year, rumor lists had Anakin's Podracer for a Winter 2016 release which ended up being 75135 Obi-Wan's Jedi Interceptor. This went as far to the point where on barcodes at Target had the name "Anakin's Podracer" as well. Right now Target has barcodes for Guardians of the Galaxy sets that say something along the lines of "Confidential 1" instead of the actual name of the set. So, since we haven't heard anything about this set since it was first rumored, I think there is still a chance that it could be something entirely different, although I hope not.
  8. From the images we've seen, I'm fairly certain the minifigure is based on this action figure.
  9. Hi everyone. I've been surprised by how well designed the recent Rebel ships have been recently (75050, 75155, 75172, and 75175). It's cool to have a fleet, however I feel like we're missing the most important member of this line-up, the X-Wing. Now the Resistance X-Wings are pretty flawless, yet the most recent Original Trilogy version is kinda outdated, especially with the cockpit. The most recent X-wing I have is 6212 from 2006 which is even more outdated and out of place next to the modern sets. I didn't want to spend $100 plus on 9493 which I don't feel is worth it anymore so I designed my own. It's largely a recolor of 75102 Poe's X-Wing, but the wings were built to look like the original X-Wings and the main ship has been modified to fit R2 and make the rear of the ship more accurate. The biggest issue I have with 9493 is that you have to put R2 in sideways so I tried to remedy that. Anyways, I'm now trying to gather parts to build it for real. Thanks for looking and feel free to leave any comments or criticisms, especially about the engines because thats where I've had the most trouble.
  10. They've been doing pretty good at representation in recent sets so I think we'all continue to see this going forward in battle packs and other sets. I hope they continue to give us more alien prints as well like the rebel BP from last year.
  11. I hope the Bounty Hunter bp means that we are getting more named character packs going forward. Jedi, specific, named Clone Troopers, Pilots, I feel like there is a lot of opportunity to give us figures we otherwise wouldn't get as they don't belong in any specific set.
  12. I think a proper step forward would also be releasing sets with new player skins like the skin packs. No one needs 12 Steves or 8 Alexs and adding a variety of players would be a good addition to this or any future sets.
  13. Desert Skiff is a Target exclusive.
  14. I hope if we do get him, it's in something other than a Jedi Starfighter. Maybe and updated Palpatine's Arrest or something entirely new such as the Invisible Hand. I think the gap between the Han Solo movie and Episode 9 will give Lego a chance to catch up on some of the other movies.
  15. Im pretty sure the figures will be Bossk, 4-Lom, Dengar, and IG-88. If it were any different we would've had another preliminary figure on the box art, not Bossk or Dengar as placeholders. I'm pretty happy about the selection. I'm glad I don't have to spend $30 on a not so good set just for Dengar. Yeah it's not perfect but at least most people will be able to get a good amount of good figures for a cheap price and hopefully this means going forward we might see more battlepacks with actual named characters. Anyways, do polybags like R3-M2 typically show up in other places then just Legoland? or do we all just have to Bricklink it?
  16. A lot of the most recent Dimensions packs have it, so you could try finding one of those for cheap to get some of those pieces. I know E.T. and Tina from Fantastic Beasts both have that piece.
  17. I agree, I wouldn't expect anymore than what came with the original. I do hope that at least one figure is exclusive though.
  18. Well with the current rumor that Dimensions will be ending after this year, I would hope that Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter would get pushed to full sets again. I'd like to get new Harry Potter Characters and settings, maybe a D2C Hogwarts even, and it would be nice to get more characters from Fantastic Beasts as well.
  19. I'd like to see some R2 variants. A muddy version from Dagobah, a dusty, sandy version from Tatooine, maybe with a restraining bolt since C-3PO got special printing and a bolt with the Sandcrawler.
  20. I think nice additions would be: 1. An interior of at least the main hold, cockpit, and gunner seats. Decently detailed, not like 75105 with lots of open space. If anyone has seen the De Agostini model of the Falcon, it comes with multiple roof panels that lift off to show different parts of the interior, but not the full thing. I think it would be a nice improvement on the old model without driving the price up too high. 2. Updated parts. There have been a lot of new parts over the past 10 years so it would be nice to see those utilized to heighten the look of the model. 3. I agree with the minifigs. Although, I think they would need to do different figures than they did in the original due to all of them having just been released in 75159 The Death Star. Maybe updated ceremonial Luke, Han and Leia? I would like to get figures from all the movies it has appeared in yeah, but it might take away from the 40th Anniversary part of the set. But here's a list of those who could fit with it: ANH: Luke, Leia, Han, Ben, C-3P0, R2, Chewbacca, Darth Vader (Again, all of them were just released with 75159) ESB: Bespin Jacket Han, Hoth Leia, maybe Lando? but I don't want him to come out with the Falcon and ruin the chances of a Cloud City. Or the Lando in Han's outfit. RotJ: Maybe the sandstorm versions of the heroes after they escape Jabbas Palace? Lando, Nien Numb TFA: Old Han, BB-8, Finn, Rey, Resistance Rey, Old Luke, maybe a dusty R2 There's quite a few options at least.
  21. I don't play the game but I will definitely be getting the new Hermione figure. I didn't get the team pack because it's basically two figures that already existed. I'm definitely up for more Harry Potter though. I recently completed the 2010-2011 wave and every single one of those sets is pretty amazing.
  22. Bail Organa would be perfect for May 4th. He's someone who I think deserves to be made into a fig but would just be an add/extra if he was in a set like Nute Gunray is in 9494.
  23. I don't think we'll see anything similar for a while. Most likely we will get smaller sets like Ewok Attack or the Bunker but I don't know that we'd get those anytime soon. 2023 is the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi, so if we get a UCS for that movie it probably won't be until then.
  24. I've also been wondering what will happen. I'm wondering if they'll even release a full wave for this film. Yeah it's Star Wars, and yeah it might make a ton of money, but I'm pretty sure this has been the least anticipated of all the Disney films. So I think it could possibly fall in with Ant-Man and Doctor Strange where it only gets one or two sets rather than a full wave. If it does get a full wave though, I think the normal release schedule will be thrown off and maybe even switch with Marvel Superheroes. Jan. 1st - 3 sets (TLJ or older films) March 1st - 3 sets (Han Solo Film) and June 1st - 4-5 sets (Older films as well) I just can't honestly see them releasing 7 or so sets for the Han Solo Movie. I just hope it opens up some space for them to go back to older movies and deliver some really nice sets without having to worry about new big movies. 2017 is a pretty even year I'd say, with at least one set coming out from every movie released so far (even the Clone Wars and Rebels both got sets). Not counting buildable figs, battle packs, or microfighters we have 1 from Ep. 1, Potentially one from Ep. 2 (Obi-wan's Jedistarfighter), 1 from the Clone Wars, 2 from Ep. 3, 2 from Rogue One, 1 from Rebels, 1 from Ep. 4, 1 from Ep. 5, 2 from Ep. 6, and 2 from Ep. 7. I think the variety is pretty amazing. And they will only have more and more to do in the future, so I think a break would be nice and maybe we could get some wishlist sets or something.
  25. Everything looks okay when the perspective is fixed. I made straightened version here.
