Looks like a polybag for sw purchases like the Rebel Pilot for December. I doubt it would be the May the 4th fig as it has been given away in a Lego monobrand store.

Lego is a company. Companies want to make money. Re-releasing sets like MF and Death Star for people who don't own the earlier version(s) is ideal. I know a lot of people how are SW fans have bought sets like these just because how big they are (that's kinda the point of UCS set I know). But you should also consider that not everybody has the older set. No company likes secondary markets with sets going 10 times as much as RRP so from a business point of view I understand the decision. Besides, I'm one of the people who doesn't own the original MF and would love to have one. Same goes for the Death Star but the price for that comparing to what you get is meh. I think that if the MF has the same price to piece ratio as the Death Star 2016 but is the same as the older MF with some updates I wouldn't mind as it is way better as a display model than the Death Star.

All I can say is that you can post 1000 pictures of this build, but none of them will show you how good/big/realistic it in real life is. Really nice job. I'm going all in and decided that I'll make 3 of these (2 more to go) :)

Yea, that doesn't take many pieces as it is an 'unfinished' AT-AT. But not every piece for the sides of the vehicle comes in orange so you have to make some changes there or use a different color.

This. I understand that it is (mostly) aimed at kids and the 'goofy' suits/villians etc. will work for that audience, but as a comic / Batman fan they really are pushing it to the limit.

I think he is hinting towards a Millenium Falcon UCS (I already posted this info in the UCS thread a few months ago) which we will be getting for a whooping €700,- EU price. That's what my source told me and he never let me down (Nexo Knights info on retiring/new sets, Batman Movie CMF, Speed Champions sets). Take this however you want ;) As for the 'normal' sets in 2017 I don't think they give the 40 year anniversary a lot of attention. Especially not when they release a Star Wars icon UCS.

Episode 8 is 2017 so we should get those too. But I doubt we will see those early.

The (set) models look so lame. I guess you can say that the potential figs for the summer wave look great, but the builds don't interest me at all. They're all over the top and look unfinished.

Lego gave an explanation here in the Netherlands. They said they were receiving so many phone calls about the new sets and if they could make them available for Christmas that they decided to remove them from the site until after the holidays. I assume that this is a global decision.

It is also possible that they call for Cham Syndulla (Hera her father). I think they hint at Hera, but it's a possiblity. It's a Rebels shoutout for sure. On the Krennic subject: The novel Catalyst tells the story of Krennic and Galen Erso right before Rogue One.

Well this is very interesting..

You can fit ships but they dont belong on the platform. I think I'll add 2 more of set so it looks more realistic for a battle scene. Build it today, but found it really underwhelming. The colors look cool and it's figs are okay but the top wing looks unfinished. Don't like the underside of the craft.. It's all so messy.

Yea true it isn't worth RRP. I got a gift card and 15% off so it only cost me 35€.

Just build the 75171 Battle on Scarif. Like the idea of the set and the platform (all stickers btw), but a bigger platform would have been nice. Anyway here are some pics (not the best quality but my camera doesn't do what I want and I don't have a photo box thingie): Forgot to put the orange crate on the pictures, but it's the same as in the Hover Tank set.

Yea I thought I spotted Chopper too but wasn't sure. Going for a 3rd time tomorrow so will be on the lookout for that. It would be cool if the final episode(s) of Rebels also feature this scene but then from their point of view. Which would probably mean that Ezra and some other survive and have a chance to show up in other spinoffs or saga movies. Also, I think that Saw is a good May the Fourth Minifig but they probably go with something of the OT.
