  1. With this specific error readout i was on Windows 11, but i’ve also tried it on macOS Monterey and gotten similar if not the same errors
  2. Hey @M2m, I am getting this error whenever I try to run it: "Traceback (most recent call last): File "\importldd.py", line 1455, in execute File "\importldd.py", line 1395, in convertldd_data File "\importldd.py", line 953, in Export AttributeError: 'Converter' object has no attribute 'scene' location: <unknown location>:-1" I am using Blender 2.9.0 and am trying to run the script directly from the scripting tab. It will pull up a file selector and let me select a file but then it gives me that error. It also gives me the same error when I try to install it as an add-on. Any ideas?
  3. These are AWESOME! How are you making these??
  4. So the 15th project since May 4th has hit 10,000 today. FIFTEENTH. And we still have a few months to go until the deadline. (right?) AND there’s currently six projects with 9,000+ supporters. I’m starting to suspect that this review will be even larger than the last, as hard as that is to fathom.
  5. @jester are you able to explain how to convert .g to a .obj file? I am trying but can't figure out how to convert from .lxfml to .3dxml. Is 3DVIA Printscreen required for that?
  6. Don't know if you guys already know how to do this, but after a little messing around I figured out how to add a texture to a brick that was not previously able to be textured. I did this one freehand without any UV unwrapping template because I couldn't get the .lxf to .obj converter to work but if I could figure that out, it could make it go 200% smoother and faster
  7. It is definitely possible to have new decorations on existing pieces that can be decorated, you simply have to add it to the decorations folder and then add a line specifying the image and the part number you want it on in the Decorations Mapping file. What I'm wondering is how to add new surfaces to put decorations onto parts that have not in the past been able to be decorated in LDD. @jester any clue on how to add these surfaces?
  8. @jester Is there any way you could show us the process of adding a piece? I would definitely try to contribute if I knew how!
  9. I've got to say, this series is probably tied with Series K as my favorite series of yours! My favorites are definitely the snowman, circus acrobat, valkyrie, southern belle, kite flyer, and actor! Fantastic work as always @Robert8!!!
  10. WOW @Robert8 that shepherd and Blind Justice look amazing! I absolutely can't WAIT to see this new series! I think I've actually come to look forward to seeing your series unveiled even more than Lego's official series!
  11. It's not particularly clear, but if you refine the results on the discover page to "Gathering Support" then it displays only the ideas submissions! :)
  12. @Robert8 can't wait to see series L! Just from the blurred tease I can tell it will be an amazing series! :)
  13. I agree. Product ideas on the site always seemed to have more of a professional feel (even if not all the projects are professional themselves), but contests just seem out of control quite frankly. And I for one am not really into the contests, so it's a bit frustrating to see them invading every aspect of the site. I hope this doesn't continue to get worse. Honestly everything on the site is quite fixable, if only the moderators would listen to feedback. It seems that they are so focused on getting contests up and running (which isn't even the original purpose of the site??) that everything else has taken a back seat, which is quite frustrating.
  14. After seeing an EXPIRED project on "Top" on the home page, I'm now officially convinced the old style of the website was infinitely better.
  15. It seems that the activity feed which showed what projects were being supported in real time is gone? That seems like an odd feature to remove, I enjoyed that feature....
  16. Ok I have to give a shoutout to this project because the shape of the building is so well-realized... Reminds me of the flat iron building in NYC. Modular Bank by Creating15
  17. Agreed. It's pretty much like posting CMF series on Ideas...
  18. Hmm... I don't know much about graphics drivers, and I apparently have an AMD graphics driver. Any idea how to change that over to integrated graphics? Thanks for the response :)
  19. Thank you! This will definitely work if I can fix one specific problem I'm having :)
  20. So I'm having an interesting problem... Whenever I open up 3D Printscreen and LDD, LDD will not load or do anything. In fact, if I launch 3D Printscreen before LDD, then LDD won't launch at all. Is there a fix for this? I spent a while trying to figure out why LDD was acting so strangely and finally figured out that it was 3D Printscreen causing the problem. Any fixes?
  21. So I've been trying to mess around with Blender recently, and I'm trying to import certain pieces from LDD into Blender. But the only way I've found to do this online is to use an external program such as LDraw or Mecabricks. However, the problem is that these programs do not have nearly the library of pieces that LDD does. Is there any way to take the actual piece data file and convert it into a format that Blender can import with? Thanks! :)
  22. I feel like I say this every time, but every time it is true... This is without a doubt my favorite series yet. There's so much amazing stuff here... My favorites have to be the Jouster, Doctor, Nymph, and Pirate Queen. Amazing work, @Robert8. Totally cool with waiting for the next series! This makes it worth it! :D
  23. Sooo... I tried something new! I tested my skills in Blender (which aren't that good to begin with) and tried to make the Gondolier from Series B! It was a fun process! It definitely isn't perfect but I'm pretty satisfied with it for now :) I might try and make the rest of Series B at some point (the molds in Series B seem easier to model...)! Anyways here's my first attempt! Hope you like it @Robert8! :)
