  1. Knightcrawler Tunnel Attack set just dropped to £39.00 on Amazon if you're based in the UK. Not too bad really! Spent way too much this month on Lego though.. oops!
  2. Yes of course, I briefly saw some of the confidential pics but look forward to some official pics being released in all their HD glory. Me too - more IW than Black Panther of course for obvious reasons!
  3. Am I right in thinking the only thing we really know further details about are the 3rd Wave of Might Micros for Marvel? Oh and that Juniors set with Scorpion?
  4. I'm with you. If I didn't collect Superheroes I'd probably collect Star Wars (I have a tiny amount but hardly anything). If that wasn't about? I highly doubt I'd be collecting Lego at all!
  5. Same here. I know it comes with bricks and the book is more interesting, but I only wanted the fig so £17.99 was a bit much. I knew if I waited a little it would drop by a good amount as they all seem to in the end! Should arrive tomorrow :) Good price for the set really, I got it for that on Amazon, I guess they were price matching JL! Ended up selling off the build, supes and Wonder Woman for £45.
  6. The John Stewart GL book (Build your own adventure?) is now £9.99 on Amazon for chaps in the U.K. Much easier to swallow than £17.99! I've been sending price matches for ages lol cheapest I could see online was £9.99 + £2.80 postage (haven't seen the £8 ASDA deal).
  7. That's what I might do to my one.
  8. Yeah Argos for £2.99. Although it appears they used to have so many in stock, but now my local one has hardly any it seems. Although I live near about 5! Just not the one I can walk to in 5 minutes lol.
  9. Hi bud, drop me a message. The Kiss Kiss ones are plentiful over here in the U.K. so I can nab them easily.
  10. Where are you based? It can be a struggle sometimes haha I collect exactly the same as you. I tend to do the following nowadays to collect my figs.. - Wait for sets to go on sale. I haven't picked up a set in a long time at full Lego RRP.. it just gets too expensive, quick! I tend to bide my time and they generally drop in price pretty quickly on Amazon etc (for new sealed sets direct from Amazon. Not minifigs from 3rd party sellers trying to rip people off). I buy the set, sell the build and keep the figs I need. The recent Justice League Flying Fox set for example... £100 in Lego? Got it for £60 on Amazon, kept Batman, Cyborg, 2x Parademons, Steppenwolf, Wonder Woman, Superman, the Motherbox and all their accessories then sold the rest of the set for £30. People are trying to flog Steppenwolf for £15-£20.. for example so screw buying that loose when I can do the above. - Wait for special deals (again, sales I guess), but Argos here in the UK do a 3 for 2 deal every now and then. It means I can pick up say 6 of the bigger sets, but only pay for 4. I also sell off everything else other than the figs/accessories so that helps me recoup what I've spent. During the summer, I picked up 6 sets for about £200 from the Super Heroes line, and I made a good chunk of that back after selling the builds. - Bricklink is still a good place. Some figures don't need accessories (Superman for example), and once you got a million batterangs from sets, Batman! There are a few, so you can use Bricklink for those. - eBay, sometimes you can get some cracking deals, but it can be expensive sometimes too. You just need to do your research on what that fig is worth. Going back to Bricklink to do this is a good idea to get a value. - Facebook Lego pages. I'm on about 3 or 4 and generally they seem to be a little cheaper than the likes of eBay or Bricklink. Obviously keep your wits about you, if something is too good to be true it probably is, and only ever pay using PayPal goods and services to cover yourself. As there are no eBay fees etc I think that helps people price a little lower. That said, if you're in the UK, I've got a Superman and Wonder Woman from that Flying Fox set you can buy haha. Lastly, seconding what @MAB, minifigs are generally not cheap, even more so with themes like Super Heroes / Star Wars etc. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and pay what they are generally worth. I see a lot of people on the Facebook pages trying to nab a bargain because they don't want to pay the going rates and it never goes anywhere.
  11. What do you think of it? I don't know many people who have picked it up really. I only got it for the figs as I don't really have set display room but flicked through the instructions and checked out the pieces and it actually looks like it would be quite a fun set! Admittedly a bit expensive. Glad to finally get She-Hulk and Red Hulk too.
  12. Cheers @julesvincent, appreciate that! Glad to hear the capes are the soft fabric. I can live with the neck part on Wiz being regular type :).
  13. Welcome! Jump right in, it's the best way! I agree - would have loved the pink cape for Bunny Batman. Even more so as the torch included it. Would have liked to have seen the gold bat for the Wizard Bat staff too along with the correct hat, but I still think that one looks pretty cool as it is. I'm a bit worried about what state the capes are going to be in though when (if) I manage to get the pack seeing as they are held into packaging. Bent up I assume! Will have to iron them flat or leave them under some books. Unless they are the lovely new fabric ones we get nowadays, I honestly prefer those!
  14. Much appreciated. I can sell those ones then! I picked it up for the figs too. Kept hold of the parademons though so I could display both colours with the two different wing variants (annoyingly, Bricklink seems to have broken them down to individual numbers but I'm assuming they'll change that soon, otherwise things like Hawkman and Space Suit Batman will need the same treatment?). I usually use Bricklink for reference but as you said, bit slow sometimes! Cheers for your help
  15. I got an e-mail back pretty quick which just in short basically said they don't know when they will be available, just keep an eye on the website!
  16. Yeah I don't want to miss it! I've dropped them an e-mail to find out so I'll let others know their reply. I already saw one on eBay for STUPID money from Germany, claiming they are already sold out even though it was available on their website.. standard eBay!
  17. Are there any clues on how we're able to get the Bricktober pack in the UK as of yet? I know you can already order it in Germany (I think?).
  18. Guys - am I right in thinking that Superman and Wonder Woman from the Flying Fox set are identical to the ones we got previously in the BvS sets? I haven't compared face prints or anything as don't want to take them out of the frames they are all in so thought I'd check here first with you knowledgeable bunch :)
  19. Sounds like I need to get myself to ASDA. I need the fig but really don't want to pay £17.99 for the book!
  20. Hoping I can nab one easy enough here in the UK, I've never gone for a Bricktober pack before so don't know if they sell out quickly etc?
  21. Weird videos? There's a guy on YouTube who goes round licking things (licks a slow passing train for example).. I think that's quite up there for weird!
  22. That's fine mate, I didn't take it as confirmation, just took it that the suits are different :)
  23. So, catching up a bit.. the only characters we won't have from the JL party scene in the movie would be: Black Vulcan, Apache Chief and Samurai? Taking into account we've already got The Flash, Wonder Woman, Supes (although were getting new), Green Lantern, Aquaman and Cyborg from previous DC sets.
  24. I always used to think your user name was Wicked Demon for some reason.. Wicked Lemon is much better I should pay more attention.
