Ahahah yeah sorry...it was convoluted: I was wondering about TLG changing the "standard" pattern again (like they did a couple of years ago with brown, grey, green). When they changed the old colour they said that was attempt to rationalize 'em because there were too much colors. Now they're going the same way (putting out lots of new colours every year), so I fear that (in a couple of years) they're going to "rationalize" 'em again.

BTW, In my opinion lego is putting out way too much colours, I like it but I think that I'll finish like we know...In a couple of years they'll have to rationalize the patterns and we'll end up with different basics :|

I'm a castle builder and since Lotr came out I tought that this year I could save something to buy a new graphic card but after seeing theese sets I'll probably waste too much money with lego and will have to stick with my ati hd5770 :)

Aaah I didn't save them, It's a really bad thing since i wanted to watch again that awesome castle! Maybe asking in that forum? I think that lotr would be difficoult to implement in the lego-world, and its theme is not really for children imho.

I really hope the bow is not final, I really don't like that steel-ish bow and I think that its grip is too small for regular minifigs hands!

Baseball player is hard to find? I've got like 4 or 5, the elf is really hard! I'll put a couple of them on bricklink when I will able to use it!

Holy Bricks! That's awesome! I never bought a keychain, can I detach the torso like a normal minifig or is all one piece?

Sadly dark forest was not really widespread (here in Italy (at least where I live) there was not a trace in the shops and in the catalogue) As a child I would have loved to play with the dark forest fortress and I like the new torsoes they introduced in that set! (and I really love the deer shield)!
