Well, I preordered everything on Amazon. I don't pay for these unless they're half off, but I don't want to miss out on the stacking deals like I did last time.
-
The original story is continuing, it just looks like you need to buy Story Packs for that as well.
-
"The Ghostbusters Story Pack, based on the upcoming film, will provide a complete movie-based gameplay experience with six puzzle-packed levels and new LEGO Gateway bricks that allow players to build Zhu’s Chinese Restaurant atop the LEGO Toy Pad. It will also come with a buildable Abby Yates LEGO minifigure with Proton Blaster and 3-in-1 buildable Ecto-1 which can be rebuilt into the Ectozer and The PerfEcto. The pack unlocks “Rip,” a new Toy Pad mode allowing players to tear open an alternate universe. In this mirror world, players have the ability to solve puzzles and affect objects and other items in the primary universe. And like all gold-tag minifigures purchased, Abby Yates provides access to a new themed Adventure World with its own unique Battle Arena. The Ghostbusters Story Pack is just the first of this new exciting pack type, with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, based on the highly anticipated theatrical release, still to come later this year. The LEGO DIMENSIONS packs will be the exclusive construction toy offering this holiday for the exciting expansion of J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World. Story Packs also expand the Starter Pack story with deeper gameplay. In the game’s storyline, the evil Lord Vortech has hidden portions of his powers around the LEGO Multiverse. As players progress through Story Pack levels, they can unearth and tap into Keystone Runes to use Lord Vortech’s powers against him through all-new Toy Pad modes." Kind of important info about the Story Packs.

Holy cow, we're getting 16 (SIXTEEN) new IPs for Phase 2? This is nuts. 1) Harry Potter 2) Fantastic Beasts 3) Adventure Time 4) Powerpuff Girls 5) A-Team 6) Gremlins 7) Mission Impossible 8) Knight Rider 9) Goonies 10) ET 11) Sonic 12) Ghostbusters 13) Teen Titans Go 14) 15) 16) Edit: Thanks Puffle Pal26 for TTG. So it looks like we actually have no idea what 3 of the new IPs are? Hopefully 2 of them are Lego themes and one big surprise.

Just looking at the descriptions, the Adventure Time Team Pack mentions some new abilities- Slurp Access, Grapple Swing and Shape Shift Damn, I'm really scared about the prices of Story Packs. The Level Packs already cost an obscene amount of money for the amount of pieces and content in the game... and this is more pieces, and SIX times the levels. I could see them charging an absurd amount like $60 for these things.

I doubt those are connectables, they look like more of a collection stand thing.
-
I'm. So. EXCITED! No Marceline though. =/ Also: Wave 2- gold bases.
-
Fake I guess!
-
Mr. T makes sense to me on the 4-character-box trailer now.
-
And here's another preview, it's probably Sonic. EDIT: THREE new mini trailers. Looks like we're getting a fourth main character. Also, new Ghostbusters.
-
^ Hopefully the TT version of Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire. The Beast Boy and Robin figures we have now are pretty fine to fit.
-
I don't think that original list will be the full list. Just 2 packs for Harry Potter is incredibly low, and 1 pack for most of these franchises is very, very low as well. We had 3-5 packs for a lot of franchises last time around. And it also doesn't include new packs for the Phase 1 franchises, which we need to assume they'll be some of.

Gremlins AND Adventure Time!!!! OH. MY. GOD!!!!
-
So guys, most wanted HP characters then? Pretty obvious but I hope we do get a new version of Ron along with Harry/Hermoine. I was a kid when the original HP stuff was coming out, so I have a ton of the "yellow-faced" figures, and only a small amount of the "white-faced" ones. Just because of that, I'd love getting those... Hagrid and Dumbledore are my favorite characters, so I'd love those. Were there any major characters that were never released in old sets?
-
I'd be pretty darn happy with that, but I still find Mission Impossible to be so weird. But the article does say that it's for Lego Dimensions 2, a whole new game and not just the original being updated soooo I'm kind of doubtful.
-
Wow and Thursday too, way before E3. My bet is we'll get a few reveals on Thursday and some additional stuff during the E3 even when we see the actual game being shown. I'd be very happy if we got some more LotR!
-
I do wonder what that actually means though. Probably just a re-release of the game with a special extra? Or something for Phase 2?
-
And there we have it, Supergirl will be available in a themed Starter Pack for PS4.
-
I'd rather John Simm's Master =X Probably alone on that. I feel like they can do more in-game wise with powers, not that I'd be opposed to Missy.
-
Well considering I was iffy on whether we'd get more Doctor Who characters or not, I'm very happy. Hopefully we'll get at least one more, the Master or something, and perhaps a companion that shuffles through major companions like the Doctors regeneration in this game. I wonder which other IPs from Phase 1 will get new content, other than DC which is obvious. I think we won't get any more Ninjago, Chima, Portal 2, Midway, Scooby Doo, Jurassic World, Lego Movie, Simpsons, And on the other side, I think we'll see new content from Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, LotR, DC, Wizard of Oz (hopefully,) and maaaybe Back to the Future, though that's doubtful to me.
-
I'd be so sad if he was just an exclusive figure. Now I know how the Supergirl/Green Arrow fans feel.
-
I was just quoting Strax :( But that's awesome! Though could be a hack.
-
Don't mess me with, little girl. That would be SO cool. Can I see?

It's on Amazon Prime Video thing right now. I watched most of it on Netflix and was super annoyed that it got taken off. Didn't renew Netflix account. It's pretty big here, I see it (to a small degree) at anime conventions in terms of cosplay and merchandise/fan merch, and it's all over regular comic conventions.
