Well there we have it 100% officially with no way of reading that any other way. For this year, at least, no more Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, etc. We'll have to wait til next year to get our hopes and dreams crushed again! At least there will be two Tardis spots in the Year 2 content.

Still, a gap of 22 is huge especially when Goonies and Gremlins were set to only have 1 pack. And how many could there be for Undercover? 1...2? Batman can get maybe 3? Here's to hoping there's a lot more surprised to come, I'd be stoked for more Adventure Time packs.

At leas 3, one for Ghostbusters, one for Fantastic Beasts, and one for the Lego Batman Movie. However, since there are going to be 4 waves this time around, I have a feeling we'll get a fourth Story Pack as well.

It's not like Lego hasn't done that in the past (RIP Lone Ranger and Prince of Persia.)

I'm more sad than I am pissed off about it. And it's not just about Doctor Who for the game, I'm a bit saddened that some of the franchises feel kind of half-assed. Don't get me wrong, I'm super, super happy with the content for Year 2. Actually, I think they did a really good job this time around with getting franchises that really only needed one or two packs to cover their content, so kudos to you TT for making smart decisions. But where they succeeded in Year 2 they failed in Year 1. LotR, Doctor Who, Wizard of Oz, Scooby Doo, Jurassic World, and the Simpsons could of had way, way more content than they did and I'm pretty sure at this point we'll never get that. Instead we got way too many packs for Ninjago where all the characters were roughly the same, in a franchise where you can buy their figures on the second-hand market for really cheap anyway. And I have a feeling I'm going to feel that same disappointment with Year 2 franchises of Sonic, Harry Potter, the Goonies and the Power Puff Girls. I don't doubt that they'll have a function where if you own Blossom you can play as all 3 of them (this is just speculation, Blossom was never announced,) but it'd be a huge missed opportunity if they only released one of the girls... not to mention many of the villains would make amazing figures, like Mojo Jojo. Anyway. Point is, I wish they went all out, 110% all out. I'm not too mad because they are bringing us a TON of amazing content in and out of game anyway, but I don't like it when there can be so much more.

I have to agree, mostly because at this point it's doubtful we'll get any DW content anyway.

Tails is a dude, that is his plane, but one of the TT guys on twitter said he would not be playable.

Here's to hoping that everything in the original leak wasn't it. I mean, the original leak lacked Powerpuff Girls, Beetlejuice, Lego City Undercover, the Lego Batman Movie and Goonies at the very least, so there are at least more packs than it said.

It's apparently someone from Fantastic Beasts, so at the very least, we're getting some other kind of Fantastic Beasts Pack.

That makes sense, so within about two months. We'll probably know almost everything by then.

Yeah, all we can do is kind of hope. Wasn't every pack for Year 1 shown very soon after E3 2015? Like within a month or two, long before the game came out? If it repeats, we'll know soonish.

Is there anything from Phase 1 themes coming, or is that it? Also, are we going to call these things "seasons" like they called them at E3? Season 2. It's not as cool as Phase 2.

Highly likely from what we know right now, yeah. The only thing I'll miss from the PPG line is the voices in game. Otherwise, the actual minifigs will still look like the old cartoon ones, the new models are pretty similar.

Ah cool, I hope they're actually saving a surprise for today and not just a third repeat stream of the same stuff.

Does anyone have a twitter account? Some of the developers have been answering questions. We could just ask "is any of the Season 1 content getting new Packs?" Even a "stay tuned!" answer would be helpful.

I'm gonna go ahead and believe you just because I want to believe. Actually, I'd be surprised if they didn't add X-Files in Phase 3. But anyway, the game looks sick and I'm happy with all the additions, whether or not we get more DW/Wizard of Oz/LotR stuff. But I do really want it.

Okay, here we go- so on stream, they said there will be over 20 BATTLE ARENAS. That means at the very least 5 of the original themes from Phase 1 will get a new Pack with an orange base to unlock a battle arena. We already know that DC will get a battle arena for Supergirl/Green Arrow. Well there you go. The guessing is up to you guys.

Lego Dimension will have its full live stream tomorrow, Wednesday, at E3, so probably then I'd think.

I can hope, but if there really are going to be over 20 new IPs in this game, I quite fear that we won't get anything else for previous IPs. Then again, half of the new ones will probably only have one pack anyway. (A-Team. Knight Rider, Beetlejuice, Mission Impossible, Gremlins, and ET,) so 6 of the 16 new franchises, I guess that's less than half and about equal to how many IPs only got one pack in Phase 1. So maybe I'm wrong, and that's all of Phase 1 we'll ever get.

It was already confirmed in the press release. We know all 16 new Themes.
