I think the EB fleet idea is getting a bit out of hand.I originally envisioned it as collection of EB's ship mocs joined together. (On a voluntary basis.) Then the major pirate fans were to decide what to do with the fleet. But spliting the fleet into sections would be a good idea.

Actually there were ironclads in this time period. The French navy experimented the idea buy plating the sides of a ship with strips of metal. :-P Does finding pics of civil war ironclad mocs by other people count? X-D

Great moc. It reminds me of a battle in history where some pirates attacked and took over a spanish town. The battle lasted 3 days. The pirates eventually won. Then they put all the townpeople in the church and burned it down. Quit a horrendous story. I hope Sabre Island turns out better.

Okay, next idea. Take an old ships hull and load it with gunpowder. Then light the fuse and knock it into the space between the two middle towers. Sail in under lighter enemy fire and blast em' from behind. >8-) But if that doesn't work it's time to call in the ironclads. X-D

What's the name of the town where you're going? (It sounds a lot like my trip to Colorado.) And what do you plan to do there? Have fun and take plenty of pics. :-)

The new set looks great. The dwarfs and other minifigs look good. But the troll looks like something from those imaginext stuff.

I thought I posted here before. Weird. *wacko* I always was a fan of the civil war. And zouaves were said to be good fighting regiments. Honestly, I actually got the idea from Brickadier General on mocpages.

Should I ask the others who signed up what side they want to be on? Although I think Tyger is on vacation.

Of course I do. This past week I've spent at least 5 hours a day just on EB. Just because I have nothing better to do. ;-)
