Thank you for making this nice review. I will be picking this up shortly, worth the price alone for the Iron Man fig. The jeep can also be used in City for the new forest sets as a nice civilian vehicle. I am looking forward to seeing this scene in the film as well.

I think it is time to discuss this further here.

Now that we have seen pictures that give us a pretty good feel for the new LOTR sets, I think it would be a good time to discuss which theme type we prefer. Do you like TLG's classic original Castle themes such as; Kingdoms, Fantasy Era, etc or do you prefer the new licensed LOTR theme? What do you want to see in the future? A return of the original castle themes? More LOTR? Or perhaps a new historic theme like Western, Greeks etc?
-
Hopefully LOTR will end after 2 years and we can get back to the original Castle themes by LEGO which I feel are far superior.
-
After looking at it, it does look like a new mold. It could be that TLG is just updating the old one. However it would be cool to get a production leak in a set.

Welcome to Eurobricks! Yes, we do have a topic for this already, so I will merge this one with that one.

Thanks for the review. It is a pretty decent set, although some S.H.I.E.L.D Agents or Troopers would have been nicer than a repeat Hawkeye. That is assuming they could be thrown in as random figs. I wonder what the Cosmic Cube is anyway (?). I myself think the helmet for Iron Man looks fine. Overall I would rate this set at 7/10.

I would like to see a picture as well, it might be a production error possibly.

Congratulations! The Town Forum just keeps getting better and better. -
How did I miss this as well? It is simply stunning. Brilliant MOC! I love the rocky mountain side and the little water fall running through it. Everything is beautiful.

That is a very interesting article, I certainly hope that in addition to TC-14 (which was just confirmed) that we get a new chrome gold C-3PO in the summer, which would be awesome.

The contest is officially over, so it is time to close this. I hope everyone had fun!

Review: 6868 Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout
Piranha replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Nice review! I am on the fence with this set. On one hand we have some cool minifigs. Then on the other we have a "Home One" type set, with a central area and a vehicle. I suppose it is alright though with some nice parts. I don't think I will be picking this one up, although it would be a good chance to get that other "Hulk" promo minifig. Overall I would rate this set at 7/10. -
Thanks for sharing! Have any full shots of the whole store calender?
-
No chrome ewok? Must have been a joke. Very nice, I want this one.

+1 to VBBN -
Thanks for sharing, that is very interesting. I am going to guess that it looks like the LEGO Store Calender. It might possibly be a promo for when the Avengers film comes out (May perhaps). If true, this is a very nice surprise.

Yes, he did indeed find it, congratulations! You will be awarded the prizes very soon. EDIT: Done!

I have no idea what you are talking about.

REVIEW: 6865 Captain America's Avenging Cycle
Piranha replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Nice Review! The best part is Captain America and his cycle for sure. Such a nice fig. As for the rest, meh. Overall though I would rate this set as average.
